Apple makes some of the best tablets you can buy, but these quality slates often come at a price. The good news is that there are regular iPad deals at various retailers so you can usually save a good chunk of money on various models if you buy at the right time. So, to help with that, I've gathered together all of the best iPad deals available right now across the full lineup of Apple slates.

Below, you can find the lowest prices for the standard iPad tablet, the premium and creative-focused iPad Pro, the portable iPad mini and the versatile iPad Air. This includes some best-ever discounts on the recent iPad Pro 2024 and iPad Air 6 now that they have been available for some time.

There's also the new iPad mini A17 Pro, which has seen a few price cuts towards the end of last year but remains at its full price at this moment in time. Given it's been on sale in the past, though, it could be an offer we see again during the Presidents' Day sales later this month.

Today's best iPad deals

The 13-inch iPad Air is the same as the 11-inch one – just bigger – and it's also down to its record-low price. It still has the same powerful M2 processor, all-day battery life, and between 128GB and 1TB of storage. If you're between the 11 and 13-inch iPad Air, I'd consider what you want to use it for. For example, the bigger screen might work better for artists who want to use it to draw or on-the-go TV fans who want to use it to catch up with episodes of their favorite shows.

There's a small saving of $90 on the latest iPad Pro 11-inch at Amazon. It did fall to $899 over Black Friday, but this is likely the best deal we'll see outside of major sales events. This is still a pricey tablet that's $200 more than the base price for both previous-generation models, but you do get the brand-new M4 chip, high-quality tandem OLED display and twice as much storage (256GB) as standard. Expect this to be one of the better offers we see in the early days of the tablet's life.

Which iPad should I buy?

If you're looking for a cheap iPad, the 10.2-inch flagship model from 2021 is likely your best bet. This everyday tablet comes with super-fast tech under the hood, compatibility with a range of accessories to enhance the experience for work or play, as well as a competitive price tag. The newer 10.9-inch model is an option, too, but it is more expensive, so we suggest getting the cheaper model while you can.

However, if you're going to be using your tablet for anything other than light everyday browsing, streaming and the odd game you might want to scale up to the iPad Air. That has the extra power to play a few more games or run a couple of Adobe programs. The deals we've seen on this iPad model are also a little more stable, with most retailers offering permanent discounts on the recommended price.

For those that go heavy on creativity, gaming, media editing or more multi-tasking-oriented workflows, you'll want to put up the cash for the iPad Pro. The 2022 model is extremely powerful, but just know that it is very rarely reduced outside of limited-time sales events. Of course, you shouldn't neglect the iPad mini, too. The latest 2021 model has a spec that rivals the Air but in a much smaller form factor. For those who want a more compact and portable device that doesn't significantly compromise on performance, that's the one to look out for in the sales.
