Nintendo Switch
The Nintendo Switch is the company’s best-selling console ever, beating even classics such as the SNES, N64 and Wii.
Released in 2017 it soon proved to be a massive hit thanks to its flexibility; a true hybrid, it can be played handheld, docked with a TV, or on a tabletop with the detachable Joy-Con controllers removed.
The games didn’t hurt, either. The Switch launched with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – without doubt one of the best games of all time – and the later arrival of the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Odyssey helped cement its place in gaming history.
Now the new Nintendo Switch 2 is here, building on the original with a bigger, better screen, more power and a few new tricks.
