Today at Wimbledon
After a wonderful fortnight of tennis, Wimbledon 2024 comes to an end today. Yesterday, Barbora Krejcikova defeated Jasmine Paolini to claim the women's title. Today, Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic again face each other for the men's crown. Based on last year, and the almost imperious way these two have played so far, we could be in for a long afternoon of brilliant tennis on Centre Court. It's almost too close to call.
There has been one British Wimbledon champion this year already. Henry Patten, alongside Finnish partner Harri Heliovaara, won the men's doubles. Alfie Hewett and Gordon Reid will look to add to that, as they battle Takuya Miki and Tokito Oda for the wheelchair doubles title once again.
