Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days sale is in full swing and as expected, has been throwing up plenty of excellent deals on headphones, vacuum cleaners and Bluetooth speakers. But one of the best Prime Day deals in Singapore we’ve come across is the huge saving on Sennheiser’s fantastic Momentum 4 Wireless over-ear headphones.

A premium pair of noise-cancelling headphones in every sense of the word, right now you can grab a pair from Amazon SG with up to SG$298 in savings, colour dependent, with the Special Edition Black Copper model (and our personal favourite) receiving the biggest discount.

The Momentum 4 Wireless headphones comfortably hold their own among the best noise-cancelling headphones, owing to the fact they serve up a truly glorious sound that is realistically the best we’ve heard for the price. Their 60 hour battery life also has to be admired as rival pairs simply don’t come close. The deal price here is on the white model but graphite can be picked up for an equally impressive SG$303. Prefer black? They can be picked up with a 32% saving.

The only difference between the Special Edition model of Sennheiser’s fourth-generation cans is the colour, which sees some rather fetching copper accents applied to the ear cups and headband. Otherwise they’re the exact same sonically. We said in our Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless review that they weren’t the most aesthetically exciting (we had the black pair) but those qualms are fully quashed here, making this model our pick of the bunch.

Sennheiser’s premium pair of cans ticks all the right boxes. Along with the aforementioned superb sound and stellar battery life, they deliver great noise-cancellation performance. Is it the outright best in this category? Perhaps not, but it comes awfully close and can be fine tuned to your liking either within the app or by ‘pinching’ the right ear cup.

Elsewhere on its enviable spec sheet is support for aptX and aptX Adaptive Bluetooth codecs, which enables you to stream higher-quality audio if your source device and music streaming service of choice are compatible. We also love their ‘Sound Zones’ feature, which lets you create custom sound profiles for different locations, which automatically activate or deactivate whenever you enter or leave a specified zone.

This is by far the best price we’ve seen in Singapore and we’re sure it won’t last forever. If you’ve been looking to upgrade your music listening, this is a great opportunity.
