As we move into November, the Black Friday PS5 deals feel an awful lot closer, and it won't be long before we're swimming in great discounts and price cuts available across everything PlayStation.

If you've delayed upgrading from a PS4, are considering jumping into PS5 for the first time, upgrading to PS5 Pro, or thinking of a gift for a friend or family member, this year's Black Friday deals are likely to be the best time of year to get PS5 hardware, accessories, or games for their lowest ever prices - or at least at severely discounted prices.

With PS5 Pro pre-orders running right now in the run-up to the sales, we're hopeful this could mean discounts on the normal PS5 and great offers on bundles of the current Slim model in particular.

We also know that retailers will start to offer their Black Friday deals and guarantees in a matter of days: Best Buy goes live on November 8, Walmart goes live on November 11, and Currys in the UK will now match or refund any differences between prices from now until December 2, for example.

Regardless of what you're after though, this is a great place to swot up on the best early offerings, what we can expect this year, as well as a quick look and reminder at the deals that occurred last year.

Black Friday PS5 deals FAQs

When do Black Friday PS5 deals start in 2024?

Black Friday PS5 deals will officially happen on November 29 this year. However, we've all seen this movie before and know that retailers will roll out some of their best deals before this date and throughout November.

Which retailers have the best Black Friday PS5 deals?

Lots of retailers offer their own Black Friday deals on all kinds of products, including the PS5. Depending on your region, we recommend following these major retailers the most closely:

US

Amazon:
the largest selection of discounts
Best Buy: good discounts on games
GameStop: lots of PS5 bundles
Walmart: good for bundles with frequent restocks

UK

Amazon:
the broadest selection of discounts
Argos: regularly price matches other retailers
Currys: good deals on recent games
Game: plenty of console bundle deals
John Lewis: offers some good PS5 discounts
Very: perfect for discounted PS5 games

What kind of Black Friday PS5 deals should I expect?

This Black Friday marks the beginning of the fifth year of Sony's current-gen console, and the first year of the PS5 Pro's existence. As a result of the latter being released, we're hopeful of seeing some great price cuts and bundles on the regular PS5 (the Slim model), and it could mark the best time ever to jump into PS5.

Elsewhere we're almost certain to see swathes of cuts across PS5 games, headsets, controllers - DualSense discounts could be particularly attractive - internal and external storage solutions, and more.
