JB Hi-Fi Black Friday sale 2024: the best early deals to snatch up
JB Hi-Fi’s early Black Friday deals are showing up, with more to come later in November
JB Hi-Fi’s Black Friday deals are creeping up on us, with some brilliant savings already going live on the retailer’s website – but the best is likely ahead of us, with the official Black Friday event set for late November.
That doesn’t mean that JB Hi-Fi will save all the best sales for one day. In past years, we’ve noticed that retailers like to celebrate Black Friday across almost the entire back half of November, all leading up to the sales bonanza that will take place on November 29 this year (followed by Cyber Monday on December 2).
Last year, we spotted the retailer discounting such things as MacBook Airs, Google Pixel phones, Roomba robot vacuums, Sonos speakers and so much more. If you want to broaden your search for a banger deal, Amazon and The Good Guys will also have prices slashed across a huge range of gadgets and appliances. Across November, we’ll be keeping our eyes on retailer websites, looking for the best price drops that you shouldn’t miss.
You’ll find a bunch of great early deals listed below, and we’ll be updating this page as more deals go live across November. Our advice? Bookmark this page and stop back now and again if you’re after a bargain.
Today’s best JB Hi-Fi early Black Friday deals

With a new range of Google Pixel phones available in 2024, the Pixel 8 is now a generation old – however it's still a very nice smartphone, packed with one of the best camera operating systems in any smartphone, a gorgeous chassis and Google's extremely user-friendly OS. We loved it in our review and gave it a TechRadar Recommends seal of approval.
Save AU$572
Packing an outstanding battery life, brilliant suction, and Dyson's incredibly useful laser headlight that shows the dust in front of the vacuum head, the Dyson gen5detect is one of the best vacuums you can buy, and it's even more attractive with a big discount. We loved this vacuum in our review, though we noted that it struggled with edges, that its performance was comparable with cheaper models and it was quite heavy. If you want the vacuum event cheaper, Dyson is currently selling it directly for AU$969.
Save AU$200
Capable of pouring two cups of coffee and steaming milk simultaneously, the aptly named Breville Dual Boiler is the perfect machine for a home that drinks lots of coffee. Samsung's newly released premium earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3, aren't the most powerful in-ear headphones that the brand offers (that would be the Buds 3 Pros) but they're still very much worth considering, especially for their strong noise cancellation, long battery life and live translation smarts when paired with a compatible Galaxy phone.
Save AU$160
With a saving of AU$160, you get a hair dryer with a plethora of sensors that make sure your scalp remains healthy, automatically adjusting heat and airflow depending on how far away the dryer is from your head. You also get a bunch of magnetic attachments for a styled blow dry too. Available in blue/orange and ceramic/orange via the same listing. If you want it even cheaper, Dyson is offering it directly for AU$579.

One of the best TVs of the year and one of the few products that TechRadar has awarded a five star review, the Samsung S95D OLED 4K TV is the lounge room display to beat. The matte display is one of the most effective anti-glare screens on the market, standing up for itself in even the brightest of rooms. With so much money slashed off, it's hard to pass up – but if you'd like a smaller model, the 65" and the 55" both have AU$1,000 off.
Save AU$161
Dyson's AirStraight Straightener is an attractive home gadget if you're looking to get your hair straightened out quickly and effectively. The gadget comes with two drying modes and automatic pausing for when you're not currently using it, along with hot plate-less design. Though the hair straightener is slightly cheaper at David Jones, JB Hi-Fi might be your pick if you're particularly loyal to the yellow tech retailer or if you've got a gift card to splurge.
Black Friday JB Hi-Fi sale: FAQs
When will the best Black Friday JB Hi-Fi deals start in 2024?
Black Friday falls on November 29 this year and Cyber Monday follows on December 2, making for an extended weekend of sales. We’re likely to see the best Black Friday sales on the Friday and continue through to the Monday, but we’re also expecting to see an abundance of deals show up prior to the huge sales event.
What Black Friday JB Hi-Fi deals do we expect to see in 2024?
JB Hi-Fi covers a big range of tech and appliances, making it a popular choice for Aussie shoppers looking for a bargain. Of everything that JB Hi-Fi offers, its best deals tend to be on TVs, coffee machines and Dyson vacuums. The retailer can also offer great deals on popular headphones from Bose and Sony, though sometimes Amazon will offer a slightly better deal, usually a few dollars cheaper.
During last year’s Black Friday JB Hi-Fi sales, the retailer discounted a wide range of tech, including MacBooks, laptops, monitors, headsets, earphones, speakers, TVs, modem-routers, smartwatches and robotic vacuums, so we’re expecting deals across many of the same product categories.

This is a 34-inch 1440p ultrawide monitor, and it offers great response times, gorgeous HDR and beautiful colours. It's even got USB-C with 90W power delivery. This is as good as it gets. One thing we didn’t like about this monitor is its high price, but JB Hi-Fi’s AU$400 discount for Black Friday helps.

JB Hi-Fi has slashed the price of this Logitech G502 X Lightspeed mouse by 50%, bringing the price down to a much more affordable AU$124. Samsung Galaxy S22 (128GB) | AU$1,149 AU$727 (save AU$422)

Google Pixel 7 Pro (128GB) | AU$1,299 AU$899 (save AU$400)

Sonos Roam | AU$299 AU$186 (save AU$113)
We rate the Sonos Roam as the best Bluetooth speaker you can get, and now JB Hi-Fi has it for AU$186. It boasts powerful sound, and the bass-heavy audio makes it ideal for using outdoors. While some portable speakers can look a little too rugged, the Sonos Roam retains the brand’s understated design aesthetic. The Tile Mate is a Bluetooth tracker that you can attach to important items like your bag, keys or pet’s collar, so you can find them more easily if you misplace them. Specs wise, this is a dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (or 802.11ac) set that's capable of combined transfer speeds of up to 2,200Mbps. While there are faster kits out there, we loved its simple setup and app integration, giving it 4.5/5 in our review. Worth a look if you want comprehensive Wi-Fi without the high cost.
Garmin Epix (Gen 2, Sapphire) | AU$1,699 from AU$847 (save up to AU$852)
One of the most advanced multi-sport watches around, we gave it 4.5 stars in our Garmin Epix (Gen 2) review for good reason. Practically perfect GPS and maps, advanced fitness tracking, plenty of metrics and a stunning AMOLED display. It all costs a pretty penny though, so when you can snap it up for under a grand, we'd say it's a good bargain.
Sony A7 IV (body only) | AU$3,599 AU$3,059.15 at JB Hi-Fi (save AU$539.85)
If you're after a really good hybrid camera that can do it all, consider the Mark IV version of the Sony Alpha A7. It's a big step-up from the previous generation, and produces remarkable results in both stills and video thanks to its 33MP full-frame sensor. Going for half price, this robot vacuum will do a decent job on your hard floors and carpets. It's not the strongest Roomba in iRobot's arsenal, but at AU$499 it's not a bad option at all. This is not the 'Plus' model, so doesn't come with the auto-empty dock, and it doesn't mop either. But it maps and navigates accurately and will clean your floors without too much fuss.
iRobot Braava Jet M6 | AU$999 AU$499 (save AU$500)
