When will Verizon Black Friday deals be available?
Black Friday 2024 falls on November 29th but Verizon usually releases its Black Friday deals a little ahead of the event. Last year's sale included a 'flash preview sale' around a week ahead of the actual calendar date so we expect the carrier to do something similar this year. Generally speaking, however, it's good practice to be on the lookout for Black Friday deals from early November onwards because plenty of retailers offer up good deals well ahead of Black Friday proper.
What Verizon Black Friday deals should I expect?
Verizon should have a decent mix of phone deals, internet deals, and various bundle deals on Black Friday itself. Verizon's Black Friday deals tend to set the tone for the next twelve months of promotions at the carrier so the chances of seeing something pretty new is relatively high.
Last year's Black Friday deals at Verizon, for example, included a free iPad and Apple Watch with all eligible iPhone purchases - a deal that's since become pretty common at the carrier. We expect similar Black Friday deals this year, with free devices being thrown in with the latest Android and iPhones alongside big trade-in rebates and various other discounts that require an unlimited data plan.
Does Verizon have Black Friday deals for existing customers?
Yes - Verizon's Black Friday deals are nearly always open to both new and existing customers. Back in the day, it was common for carriers to reserve their best deals for new customers switching over from other carriers but that's less of the case now.
That said, it's highly likely that the best Verizon Black Friday deals will require you to either sign-up for, or open a new line on, one of the carrier's pricey unlimited plans. For example, most of the best deals this year have been locked to a new line on the higher-end Ultimate Unlimited plan, which runs for 36-months and costs $90 per month for a single line. With that said, there are also deals on slightly older or cheaper phones that don't require this super high-end plan to be eligible.
Are Verizon Black Friday deals available in store?
Yep, Verizon Black Friday deals are usually available in store as well as online and they're usually exactly the same deals.
It's worth noting that there are sometimes online exclusives at Verizon, which are clearly marked on the carrier's website. This is generally the way with all Verizon deals, not just those over Black Friday so it's worth checking the various product pages online before you commit to purchasing either way.
