Apple Watches are consistently some of the most popular items in the Black Friday deals. Black Friday Apple Watch deals: FAQs
When will the Black Friday Apple Watch deals start in 2024?
This year, all the Black Friday deals will fall on Friday 29 November 2024. That's the official Black Friday date, and the deals will last all the way through the weekend until midnight on Cyber Monday, 2 December.
However, there are always deals in the run-up to Black Friday proper, and it's not uncommon to start seeing discounts at the very end of October. The early Black Friday Apple Watch deals will trickle in all throughout November, culminating in the big Black Friday weekend.
This means there are plenty of opportunities to grab a deal before the big day, but it also means the best deals might actually sell out before Black Friday weekend is even under way. Make sure you check back regularly to see if there's an early-bird deal you really want to snap up.
Is Black Friday the best time to buy an Apple Watch?
Most likely, yes. Black Friday is in a fortuitous spot in the calendar for Apple Watch hunters: Apple debuts its new devices (like the Apple Watch Series 10) in September each year, so if you're on the hunt for an older model like the Apple Watch Series 9, you might be able to pick up a discounted model as retailers rush to clear last year's stock with tempting discounts.
What Black Friday Apple Watch deals should I expect?
As above, any Apple Watch that is being phased out or replaced is usually a good bet. This year, it's the Apple Watch Series 9 being replaced by the 10, and we're already seeing a few early deals on this model.
Otherwise, the entry-level Apple Watch SE 2 almost always sees discounts on Black Friday, as Apple are keen to tempt people into buying its already-cheap watch to get people using its health ecosystem. At the time of writing, we rated the SE 2 as the best Apple Watch for most people in our best Apple Watches buying guide, and it's always a very popular buy.
However, you can be sure many people are going to want the best Apple Watch money can buy, so keep an eye out for discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. We're not expecting big money discounts here, probably $50 / £40 off or less. If you see one lower than $750 / £750 at any point, it's a deal well worth snapping up, and one unlikely to last.
