Dream machines: Dell's all-new XPS laptops now come in 14- and 16-inch sizes
There are few more iconic and desirable laptops than those in Dell’s XPS range, and they just got even better. These portable powerhouses are now available with AI inside, courtesy of Intel’s new 14th-Generation Core Ultra processors. They all sport an updated design and there’s even a new 16-inch model.
Beautifully built
The CNC-milled aluminium chassis are robust and lightweight and they look and feel luxurious. Each has a hard wearing Gorilla Glass 3 ‘InfinityEdge’ screen (with optional OLED touchscreen technology) that stretches all the way to the sides to reduce the laptop’s footprint. High resolution displays are available, they all support variable refresh rates for image integrity and stunning colours are afforded by Dolby Vision.
All XPS laptops have integrated the advanced design touches from the XPS 13 Plus– including touch-activated function and media keys for improved feature access.
A delight to use
The svelte laptops also feature quad-speaker arrays for barely believable sound fidelity, bass response and high volume. To enhance audio further, they also support both Dolby Atmos and 3D stereo surround sound from MaxxAudio Pro by Waves.
Larger key caps make the keyboard even more accurate and comfortable to type upon for extended periods while the glass trackpad is smooth, accurate and even features haptic feedback for enhanced tactile interaction. New Full HD webcams – which are augmented by the improved visual and power-efficiency performance of the new Neural Processing Unit – afford crystal clear web-conferencing.
With weights starting under 1.2KG, long battery lives (including ExpressCharge to 80 percent capacity in 60 minutes) and with discreet GPUs available for 3D-processor-related workloads and gaming, there’s a model to suit every type of road warrior, Creator and mobile power user.
All laptops are available in classy Platinum or Graphite finishes and can be easily tailored to your precise specification thanks to the Dell Store’s Online Configurator. Delivery is free and if you find a cheaper version elsewhere, Dell will even price-match it!
