What can I expect to find in a Green Chef delivery box?
You will find pre-measured ingredients for all the recipes you’ve selected, along with detailed recipe cards. To save you even more time, some vegetables will come pre-cut. Each recipe box and card are color-coded, making it easy to match ingredients to the corresponding meal.
Are the ingredients certified as organic?
Green Chef sources organic and fresh produce. The ingredients go through an extensive screening to meet their quality standards criteria. If any non-organic ingredients are included in your kit, Green Chef will clearly label them for your reference.
How long will the food stay fresh?
This depends on the type of food. Canned items can be stored for longer, while most other ingredients should be consumed within 7 days of delivery, except for seafood, which should be consumed within 2 days. Be sure to keep all the items refrigerated.
How long is the cooking time?
Cooking time is reflected on each recipe card but Green Chef ensures that most recipes don’t take longer than 30 minutes to cook.
Can I change my meals?
Yes, Green Chef allows you to change your meals 5 days prior to the delivery date. Login into your account and click ‘edit meals’. Then you can start adding new recipes of your choice.
I’m going on vacation, can I skip a week?
Yes, Green Chef allows you to pause your subscription or lets you skip a week. Just make sure to do this 5 days prior to your delivery date.
How many meals are included in one box?
This depends on the number of servings you have requested. For instance, choose 3 or 4 meals per week for a 2-serving plan. With the 4-serving plan, select 2, 3, or 4 meals, and for the 6-serving plan, you can receive 3 or 4 meals weekly.
Can I choose a delivery day?
You can select the day/date that works best for you to receive your delivery box. Please note that delivery is between 8am and 8pm window Monday through Saturday.
