How does HelloFresh work?
Create a free account on HelloFresh and browse through the variety of recipes they offer. Choose the number of meals you'd like to order that week and then pick a delivery day that works best for you. HelloFresh will then deliver the ingredients right to your door.
Can I customize the meals?
You have the option to add meal preferences to your account and each week you can customize your meal plan. You can choose from the following options: meat, family-friendly, vegetarian, fish free, calorie smart, pork free, pescatarian, and more alike. You can also add a side dish or a dessert to go with your meal.
Can I skip a week with HelloFresh?
HelloFresh offers a flexible subscription, allowing you to skip up to four weeks at a time or pause the service entirely. However, there’s a deadline to keep in mind: if you'd like to skip a week, make sure to do so by 11:59 PM, five days before your scheduled delivery.
I picked the wrong delivery day, how can I change this?
It is easy to change the delivery day with HelloFresh. Click on ‘edit delivery’ and you can pick a new delivery day.
What’s the portion size like?
Portion sizes with HelloFresh are customizable depending on the plan you choose. Most plans cater to two or four people, but you can adjust the serving sizes based on your needs. So you can scale up if you're cooking for a larger group or down if you want just enough for a meal without leftovers.
Will I have to buy any ingredients?
You will receive pre-measured ingredients for every recipe you select. The only items you will need from your own pantry are basic essentials, which are listed on the recipe card.
Hints and tips
Carefully read the recipe instructions: Before selecting your meals, make sure to review the recipe card online to ensure you are comfortable with the cooking style and overall satisfied with the recipe. Here you can also find ingredients not included in your box, so you can prepare accordingly.
Nutritional information: If you are following a specific diet, then it is recommended you check the nutritional information on the recipe card before selecting your meals. It can be either found per serving or per 100g.
