How do Moonpig reminders work?

 These allow you to add special dates to your calendar. 80% of Moonpig customers use them and you can get discounts for setting a certain amount. You can also add additional details about the recipient to customise recommendations for the recipient. 

What are Moonpig group cards?

 These are cards that can be signed by a group of people by sharing a link. Once you’ve collected all the messages, you can review the messages and order the card.

Do Moonpig do next-day delivery?

Yes, they offer next-day delivery for large and standard size cards and flowers only. This is exclusive to UK addresses and is not available for gift purchases.

Do Moonpig deliver on Sunday?

Yes, they do! Moonpig has partnered with Royal Mail to take advantage of their Sunday delivery service. As key gifting days like Mother's Day, Father's Day and Easter take place on Sunday in the UK, they offer tracked 24-hour delivery on card orders placed before 9pm the previous day. Gift orders will need to be placed before 4pm on Saturday.

Can you send Moonpig cards abroad?

Yes, they do! Moonpig delivers cards internationally, but there are some exceptions including Belarus, Myanmar, Central African Republic, Cote d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen, and Zimbabwe. However, they do not deliver gifts internationally.

What delivery options are available at Moonpig?

 To summarise, they offer:

First-class delivery that is delivered within 1-3 days of dispatch. The cost of this is £1.35 for standard cards and £2.99 for large cards. These orders must be placed before 19:00 for same-day dispatch. 

They also offer tracked delivery through Royal Mail that arrives within 1-2 days and costs £3.99 for standard cards and large cards. Prices for this delivery start at £3.49 for giant cards. These orders must be placed before 21:00 for same-day dispatch.

Hints and Tips

Set Moonpig Reminders - Not only is it a convenient way to keep on top of special occasions, but when you set 3 or more reminders, you qualify for a discount of 20% on the Moonpig app.

Take Advantage of First-Order Discount - By placing an order on the Moonpig app, you can get 30% off if you’ve never ordered with that account before. You can take advantage of this multiple times by using a different account to place the order.

Save on Moonpig for Work - By joining the waitlist, Moonpig is offering 25 cards and stamps for free with a big update being promised in November. However, this offer is only available for new customers.

According to Matthew Maidment, a writer specialising in saving money here at TechRadaras well as Tom's Guide and MyVoucherCodes , Moonpig comes with pros and cons. The biggest benefit being the convenience and speed of the service. But where it falls flat is with it's gift offering. While not poor quality, just a little bit expensive for his liking. He had this to say:

Moonpig has been my go-to website for creating customisable cards for birthdays and other occasions for a while now. Other websites are similar but I find that Moonpig has more templates and is a little more mobile-friendly.

Matthew Maidment

In terms of pricing for their cards, Matthew thought Moonpig were pretty competitive. Saying that most of the sites offering customisable cards tend to stay in the same ballpark when it comes to pricing. But when it comes to the prices of their gift offering, Matt was less impressed with the pricing, admitting that the convenience is the most tempting part saying:

"The gifts can be a tempting add-on for the convenience, but I paid £12 for a box of Lindt Lindor chocolates because it said ‘Happy Birthday’ on the box. Usually these boxes go for anywhere between £5 - £7, so it's a bit of a steep difference."

To some up, Moonpig is worth it if you want variety and convenience. It's a super competitive offering for cards, especially if you can grab a discount code and knock a few quid off the price. 

You may be better off checking your nearest supermarket for gifts if price is a big factor.
