Cyber Monday sales in New Zealand: the best deals still live on the final day of Cyber Weekend
Black Friday is over, but Cyber Monday deals are here – save on phones, smartwatches, appliances and more
Black Friday (November 29) has passed and the sun is setting on Cyber Weekend, but the deals and discounts are still flowing today – otherwise known as Cyber Monday – in New Zealand. The sale will officially end tonight at 11.59pm NZDT, but a few retailers might extend the offers for a day or two longer. These, though, will be few and far between.
While you're not necessarily going to find any brand new Cyber Monday-specific deals, you are going to get much of what we've seen in the lead up to, and during Black Friday – and that's not a bad thing. Across Amazon's Black Friday Sale and various other retailers like Noel Leeming, we've seen massive savings on some top-tier tech, like pod coffee machines for a touch over NZ$100 and savings on some of the best headphones.
So, if you've been sleeping under a rock over the weekend, or you've been waiting for payday to come in before sinking your teeth into some deals, there's still plenty of deals to be had. And, don't forget: it's officially December now! If you want to get a jumpstart on your Christmas shopping, snag one of these deals – no-one wants to get stuck at the mall on Christmas Eve.

Best Cyber Monday 2024 deals
Phone deals
Save NZ$1065
Thinking about grabbing a new phone or tablet? Buy both with this tasty deal on the Galaxy Z Fold 6. At more than NZ$1000 off, now's the time to snap (or fold) this foldable phone that we fell in love with in our time with it – giving you the best of both worlds between a top-tier smartphone and a portable tablet.
Save NZ$814
The best Samsung phone that money can buy – unless you need it to transform into a tablet – we were thoroughly impressed in our S24 Ultra review. In terms of cameras, performance and battery life, this phone is nigh unbeatable. While it's worth reminding that it is larger and heavier than most phones out there. We think it's well worth it, especially with this ludicrous saving.
We said there might be some small discounts on Apple's latest and greatest phones, and Noel Leeming has delivered. It might just be 50 bucks, but any discount is a bonus when we're talking about fresh iPhones. This discount is applied to the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
Save NZ$710
With a snappy Bespoke Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, plenty of base storage with this 256GB model and small improvements over its predecessor, the S23 Ultra earned 4.5 stars in our Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra review.
Save NZ$372
Scoring four stars in our Samsung Galaxy S24 review, the Galaxy S24 is a compact and powerful smartphone and we loved its sharp, bright display. Plus, it comes with seven years of security patches and OS updates if you're looking for a long-term handset.
Need more storage? You can pick up the 512GB model from Amazon AU for NZ$1,442.
Save NZ$250
It's not a giant saving, but the Galaxy S24 FE already offers incredible value at its regular price point, so saving almost NZ$200 on it is a worthy deal. We said in our Samsung Galaxy S24 FE review that It may not offer quite the power or camera of its flagship siblings, but the slight downgrades are worth the savings, and you still get a full suite of Galaxy AI features, a beautiful display and incredible battery life.
Save NZ$270
While the above deal on the newer S24 FE is probably going to be more attractive to most users, if you're looking for something a little cheaper, the Galaxy S23 FE is still a great phone for less than NZ$850. It's a solid, reliable handset that looks good – but we'd opt for either the Galaxy A55 or S24 FE depending on your budget.
Save NZ$111.42
There's something about Nothing that makes you sit up and take notice... yeah, it's the design, isn't it? Even under the hood there's something going on, with a clean OS, great performance and battery life, plus a dial camera system that's not too shabby for the price. Right now, though, only the white colour option is discounted.
Save NZ$185.74
This Samsung Galaxy S24 deal is fairly good if you want a new smartphone with lots of storage without spending too much money. The phone comes with 512GB capacity and a brilliant array of cameras, along with Samsung's new Galaxy AI suite of features. Available only in Amber Yellow at this price.
Smartwatch deals
Save NZ$1,086
The headline feature here – apart from the mega discount – is that AMOLED display, it's absolutely stunning! But it's also the ultimate outdoor watch, with a built-in torch, practically all kinds of activity tracking (including surfing and skiing), and packed full of features with up to 31 days of battery life.
Save NZ$101.96
The Fitbit Charge 6 is great – certainly at this price – if you're looking for a small, minimalistic and long-lasting fitness tracker to count your steps, time your workouts and monitor your daily activity. However, if you're looking for supreme accuracy regarding GPS and heart rate tracking, one of the Garmin deals below is more applicable.
Save NZ$172.54
If you're looking for a watch that's a little more simple, but is still one helluva fitness tracker, then the Garmin Instinct 2 is what you're looking for – now more than NZ$150 off. It earned the full five stars in our review as we fell in love with its rugged, durable and slim design, advanced training tools, accurate GPS and super-duper battery life.
You can get the Camo Edition for NZ$332.02.
Vacuum deals
Save NZ$406.14
If you're looking for a budget stick vacuum, then don't look past this deal on the Dyson V8. While it's quite a considerably older model in 2024 – and is lacking some of the attachments newer models provide – it offers great performance, good suction and 40 minutes of battery life on its standard setting, and has proven popular over 2024's previous sales.
Save NZ$451
A huge discount direct from the maker itself, this is a great opportunity to grab the Dyson Cyclone V10. You get typical, powerful Dyson suction power, up to 60 minutes of run time and the ability to transform into a handheld vacuum for smaller surfaces.
Save NZ$1,1255.71
If you want the best of both worlds – getting near top-tier performance without paying for it – this deal on the Eureka E10s is one worth looking at. We gave this robot vacuum four stars in our Eureka E10s review, and at more than 50% off the value on offer is exceptional. We loved its array of features – including a bagless self-emptying station, scheduling and intuitive mobile app. We've noticed Amazon AU has reduced the original list price, but the NZ$1,699 listed here is the true RRP, making this an insane discount.
Save NZ$314.52 (code EARLYBF)
We haven't reviewed this model, but at this price, if you're looking for a robot vacuum that can handle the bulk of your vacuuming for you – this discount is worth considering. Cleaning in methodical rows, this robovac offers the ability to let you map its route to avoid certain areas, differentiates between hard floors and carpets, has a simple phone app and cleans quietly.
Save NZ$170 (code EARLYBF)
We haven't gone hands-on, but if you're looking for a more affordable robot vacuum, this deal might be perfect for you. This E10 robot vacuum promises excellent cleaning of smaller debris like hair and rice, and even handles larger mess like cereal, and its battery will last more than long enough. However, users have reported complaints with the app and boundary markers.
Consoles & video games
Save NZ$161.20
If you've been waiting for a good deal to purchase a PS5 gaming console, then this is likely the discount for you and if you're ok not having a physical disc drive. If you do want a disc drive, whether it be for physical games or to play Blu-rays, you can pick up the Slim Disc model on Amazon for NZ$722.63, a 21% discount.
Save NZ$236.81
It's not the biggest discount ever we admit, and we have seen it drop to a lower price before, but the Quest 3 is one of the best VR headsets you can buy and this bundle comes with a sensational VR game in Batman: Arkham Shadow to get you on your way.
Save NZ$47.04
We called this fourth Dragon Age title "a mightily impressive return to the fantasy series" in our 4-star review, and although it was only released a couple of weeks back on Nov 1, it's now available with a sweet 32% off the RRP at Amazon AU (which matches the mega online retailer's preorder price).
Save NZ$54.01
The latest release of the Shin Megami Tensei V series brings a new "vengeance" storyline that's a heck of a lot better than the standard game. It also adds some quality-of-life improvements that make this a brilliant JRPG, brought to you by the makers of the Persona series.
Security and Camera deals
Save NZ$45
It might not seem like the biggest saving, but if you're looking to grab the latest (and maybe greatest) action camera from the Go Pro-beating DJI, then this is it. We gave it 4.5 stars in our DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro review and hey, an extra NZ$45 in your pocket is never a bad thing.
Save NZ$54.68
We were big fans of this camera in our Ring Pan-Tilt Indoor Cam review, awarding it a massive 4.5-stars out of 5. While it lacks motion tracking, that's a small drawback when compared with its 360-degree view, Privacy cover and audio disengage, Impressive visual and audio quality, and sensitive motion detection.
Save NZ$176.21
If you're looking to pump up your home security, there are few better ways to do so than with a Google Nest Cam – and if you don't want the hassle of dealing with wires, the battery model is just what you need. In our Google Nest Cam (battery) review, we loved its camera quality, Google Assistant integration and flexibility provided by being battery powered – and its facial recognition impressed, though you'll need to subscribe for that.
Save NZ$218.97
It might not be as big a name as Ring or Google Nest when it comes to home security, but Eufy is one of the best makers of home appliances, including robot vacuums. This waterproof security camera promises durability with a 120-day battery life, 600 lumens spotlight, colour night vision and an 100dB Siren.
Save NZ$344
The only thing better than one battery-powered Google Nest Cam is two. Letting you cover the front and back of your home, upstairs and downstairs or inside and outside, not only does having two cameras allow for more flexibility, but their battery operation means you can move them around as you see fit.
Laptop & peripheral deals
Save NZ$100
If you're looking for a simple, no fuss monitor with a curved display and high refresh rate, this deal is for you. It comes in 24 and 27-inch display sizes, has a gaming mode and 1800R curved screen, making it more than suitable for both work and play.
Save NZ$130

It's a lot to spend on a mouse, but when you're spending hours with it in your hand every day, shouldn't it be the best mouse? That's exactly what we think the Logitech MX Master 3s is, and a huge 50% discount is nothing to sneeze at.
Save NZ$116.82
Want a thin, streamlined, wireless keyboard? Then the MX Keys S Advanced is about as good as it gets, especially with this 52% discount. We haven't used it, but with near five-star ratings across JB Hi-Fi, Google, Amazon and Logitech, we feel comfortable recommending it.
Save NZ$109.36
If you've been waiting for an affordable gaming monitor for work and play, then you'll be happy to see this discounted 165Hz HP Omen monitor. It promises crisp, snappy low-latency gameplay, and while it won't reach 4K resolution heights, its 1920 x 1080 resolution is more than satisfactory if you prioritise frame rate when gaming.
Save NZ$797.03
If you're looking for great performance at an affordable price, then this discount on the 15.6-inch AMD Ryzen-7-5700U-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 1 is hard to beat. Its slim design makes it super easy to carry and work on-the-go, and its powerful processor makes multitasking and work a breeze. At this price, work laptops don't get much better.
Save NZD$1,336.35
This AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 7540U-equipped ThinkPad T14s has a 14-inch screen with a useful 16:10 aspect ratio and a 1920x 1200 resolution – though it's non-touch, with 45% NTSC colour and 300 nit brightness. Still, the ThinkPad has features like a fold-flat screen and fast Wi-Fi 6E. Or, for NZD$7 extra, you can trade (down) to a 256GB SSD, but in return get a touchscreen and a facial recognition webcam.
Save NZD$1,710
This ThinkPad T14 features an older but still decent Intel Core i5-1335U CPU in a chassis that weighs just 1.32kg. The versatile T14 has productivity-focused features, like a 1080p facial recognition webcam, fingerprint reader and a 16:10, 1920 x 1200 display that can fold through 180º to lay flat. Most importantly, the ThinkPad T14 is a massive 51% off.
Save NZD$1,130
Like a big screen laptop? The 16-inch Yoga 7i has a large IPS display, with 1920 x 1200 resolution, 300-nit brightness and 45% NTSC colour. Sure, we wish it had an OLED like the 14-inch model, but with a powerful yet efficient Core Ultra 7 155U CPU, 16GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, it's a great 2-in-1 machine.
Save NZD$1,020
Lenovo has equipped this Yoga 7i with a powerful Ryzen 7 8840HS CPU, as well as a standout 1920 x 1200 OLED display that has 100% DCI-P3 colour and a 400 nit brightness. As a 2-in-1, the touchscreen can be folded through 360º for tablet-style use and it includes a Digital Pen for drawing directly on the screen.
Save NZD$1,680
It's hard to beat the RTX 4070 for still affordable gaming grunt – especially when paired with a mighty 14th Generation Intel Core i9-14900HX and 32GB of RAM. You also get a large 16-inch display, with 500 nit brightness, 100% DCI-P3 colour and a 240Hz refresh rate. Not bad for 33% off.
Headphones & earbuds deals
Save NZ$333.16
We think Amazon has inflated the list price of this Special Edition model of the excellent Sennheiser Momentum 4 headphones, but either way, the current deal price is one you don't want to pass up. They offer detailed and crisp sound, with excellent ANC and transparency modes, and a 60-hour battery life that beats out most competitors.
The Pride Edition is also available for NZ$363.39 with code CE300.
Save NZ$111
If you're looking for noise-cancelling earbuds – rather than over-ear headphones – we think these are the best on the market, so grabbing them at this price is a steal. Unless you're the proud owner of the Apple AirPods Pro 2, these buds are easily recommendable to anyone.
Save NZ$140.94
They've been replaced by the XM5 model, but the Sony XM4 over-ear noise-cancelling headphones were so good upon their release that they continue to be our pick for the best headphones on the market. Comfortable, with incredibly effective noise-cancellation, stupendous sound. Now incredibly affordable, they're a must-have at NZ$344.
Save NZ$34.48
It must be nothing – or it might be your next pair of earbuds. Kitted out with ChatGPT integration (provided you also have a Nothing Phone) and active noise cancellation, Nothing's (a) earbuds offer an impressive 42.5 hours of battery life with a low cost compared to other earbud makers. They also have a really unique transparent design that sets them apart from the competition.
Save NZ$49.47
If you're looking for a quality pair of headphones without spending hundreds (or you don't trust your kid with NZ$300 headphones) we think these are the best budget headphones money can buy, and for just NZ$61, you're getting an insane deal. You won't get such a balanced, engaging sound anywhere else at this price.
Save NZ$34.50
If you're in the market for a more affordable pair of noise-cancelling buds, then this deal is for you. In our EarFun Air Pro 3 review, we called them the budget ANC buds to beat, and they haven't been beaten just yet – sitting in the budget spot of our best earbuds list. Offering solid all-round performance, these buds excel at battery life and noise-cancelling.
Save NZ$104.02
Taking more than NZ$100 off the Galaxy Buds 3 is perfect for any Android users looking for a pair of AirPods. Doing away with the original Buds design, these redesigned buds are about as close as you can get. We've reviewed the Pro model, but we've spent plenty of time with this pair, and any deal on new Galaxy Buds is a nice one. Plus, given they retail at AU$299 price in Australia, Kiwis are already getting a good deal at full price.
Save NZ$124.01
It's only the fact that the Sony WH-1000XM4 are so darn good – and often considerably cheaper than the newer XM5's – that they don't sit at the top of our guide to the best headphones. Offering supreme comfort and sound quality, with a 30-hour battery life that competes with everything other than the Momentum 4, they got five stars in our Sony WH-1000XM5 Wireless Headphones review, so taking NZ$94 off is quite the deal.
Save NZ$39.08
Our 1More Sonoflow review praised the comfort of the headphones, as well as the excellent active noise cancelling and up to 70 hours of battery life. This deal is about NZ$10 higher than the lowest we have seen, but it's still an excellent discount.
Speakers & audio deals
Save NZ$88.04
Despite there being a fourth iteration, the UE Boom 3 is an excellent party speaker, pumping out powerful sound for its deceptively small size. It’s also waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating, and can withstand some knocking about with its rugged design.
Save NZ$182.49
If it's a true party starting Bluetooth speaker you're after, the Bose SoundLink Max is happy to oblige, and it's now down to its lowest ever price on Amazon. It gives out a huge, punchy sound from its robustly built enclosure, and a two-way USB-C port means it can used to charge your devices.
Save NZ$300 (code EARLYBF)
We know – it's still almost 300 for a Bluetooth speaker, but here us out. If you're looking for a compact speaker that can fill even large rooms with audio, this is it. In our Ultimate Ears Epicboom review, we loved its design and intuitive, helpful app as well as its room-filling audio.
Save NZ$16
It's not a giant saving, but if you're looking for an affordable Bluetooth speaker that can go along with you to any parties, pool trips or hikes, this is the one for you. In our review, we loved that its small size means it can fit in any bag, plus its waterproof. At this price, what more do you want from a speaker?
Save NZ$76.02
The Megaboom 3 is one of the best waterproof speakers you can buy – with a rugged design, long battery life, and excellently loud audio. Plus, the DJ feauture – which lets two other people take turns controlling the mix – is a nice little addition when listening in a group.
Save NZ$132.01
We haven't reviewed this model, but JBL's reputation (and experience with other products) precedes it. If you're looking for a massive party speaker, this large speaker from JBL is splashproof, easily portable, has a replaceable battery for long-term use and even adds a lightshow to your party.
Save NZ$207
If you need a huge speaker that you can take to any party or event and fill the area with quality audio, this deal on the PartyBox 310 is for you. Unless you're partying for more than 18 hours, it has plenty of battery life – and its wheels and handle make it easily portable, despite its size.
Tablet & ereader deals
Save NZ$36.77
We've only just finished testing the latest release of the basic Kindle and, while it has great performance, its price made it hard to recommend. However, this 16% discount on the newest Kindle takes care of that little problem, and if you're after a Christmas present for someone who loves to read, the Match Green Amazon Kindle is hard to resist (though Black is nice, too).
Save NZ$71.22
Launched in October, the latest Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition gets you a fancy new colour, as well as the black we're familiar with. Both are seeing the same 19% discount, letting you nab the best black-and-white e-paper display yet on the market. It's fast, looks wonderful and gets you 32GB of internal storage. You also get wireless charging that no other ereader brand offers.
Save NZ$59.74
A 17% discount is a little disappointing, but then the 2024 Paperwhite remains the best Kindle you can get. Its E Ink Carta 1300 screen is fantastic, page turns are quick and, in the few days I've used it, I've had no issues with lag or ghosting. That said, for just NZ$10 more, we think the Signature Edition listed above is a better bargain.
TV deals
Save NZ$$1,331.95
We have loved other Samsung QLED TVs we've spent our time with, and if you're looking for a mid-range QLED Smart TV then we feel comfortable recommending this model at this discounted price. Save NZ$987.95
We haven't been lucky enough to get our hands on this affordable TV, but coming from Samsung and with a 4.6-star average customer review rating from more than 20 ratings on Noel Leeming, we feel very comfortable recommending it at this price. With a superslim 26mm frame, it offers 4K resolution, provides access to the best streaming services in NZ and even lets you stream games with Xbox Game Pass or other cloud gaming services. At over half price, it's hard to ignore.
Appliance deals
Save NZ$142.47
It's a basic air fryer with a 4L capacity that's perfect for a single person or a couple. This kitchen appliance is good value as it will do more than just air fry – it has 12 different functions to help you make a meal. Plus it's got a small footprint, making it ideal for a small household.
Save NZ$1,100.95
We've only reviewed the more expensive Touch model, but if you take your coffee seriously – and want a barista-level cup of joe easily, this is the deal for you. Offering automatic grinding, dosing, tamping and milk texturing, this machine lets you go from beans to latte in seconds.
Save NZ$43.29
It's not going to break any power records, but if you're looking for a blender than can quickly whip up smoothies and milkshakes that you can drink straight from the cup, this is perfect at this price. It's also plenty powerful for stronger ingredients like crushing ice and breaking down nuts and seeds.
Save NZ$350
We haven't reviewed this model, but our friends over at Tom's Guide gave this coffee machine 4.5 stars thanks to its automatic steam wand and menu of barista style drinks that allow you to create your favourite cafe brews with ease. Its RRP is a little pricey, but it's a steal at just NZ$599.
The silver model can also be grabbed for NZ$649 if the black doesn't tickle your fancy.
Save NZ$121.96
With two 5.2L capacity baskets, this large air fryer can handle anything, from a meal for five to a main and sides for two-three people. Plus, its 7-in-1 functionality lets it bake, roast, proof, reheat, warm and dehydrate.

Save NZ$220.99
We haven't spent any time with this juicer, but Nutribullet hardly needs any introduction in the kitchen appliance space. This juicer is different to others in that it promises a quieter juicing thanks to its high-torque, low-speed motor. Plus, its no-drip spout keeps your juice mixing until you're ready to drink.
Save NZ$600
The best coffee machine on the market, any saving on The Barista Touch is one worth considering, especially at this price. Offering cafe-level coffee with ease from the comfort of your home, if you take your morning caffeine hit seriously, this is the deal for you.

A mega 62% discount makes for a great deal on the Anker 323 charger. Sure, it's not the latest or tiniest model, but outputs 20V at up to 33W, so can fast charge a phone or top up a laptop. It features both USB-C and USB-A ports, and you can score the discounted price on both black or white options.
Cyber Monday 2024: key information
What is Cyber Monday?
Cyber Monday started back in 2005 as a way to encourage consumers to shop online. The National Retail Federation (NRF) coined the term Cyber Monday, and online-only retailers such as Amazon used the day as a way to capitalise on the Black Friday sales that came around immediately after Thanksgiving in the US.
Cyber Monday is now firmly part of the Black Friday shopping phenomenon, and it closes out the massive shopping event. Cyber Monday always falls on the Monday immediately after Black Friday, so this year Cyber Monday falls on December 2.
When is Cyber Monday in New Zealand?
Cyber Monday is on December 2 in 2024, which is the Monday immediately after Black Friday, which was on November 29 this year. Cyber Monday is officially a sale that lasts one day, but some retailers will promote their own ‘Cyber Week’ sales that start on Cyber Monday and stretch out for one week.
When does Cyber Monday end?
Cyber Monday usually wraps up at 11:59pm NZDT on Cyber Monday (December 2), marking an official end to the busy November sale season. You’ll likely notice some good-but-not-great deals hanging around for a day or two more, but most discounts on the big-ticket items will be over. Our advice is to add to your cart and check out when you see a really good price, before Cyber Monday ends.
Are Cyber Monday deals as good as Black Friday?
Yes, Cyber Monday deals are generally as good as Black Friday. That’s because most of the time, the same deals that are available on Black Friday are extended into Cyber Monday – unless they’ve sold out. Some retailers might offer one-day-only deals on Cyber Monday, but it’s not standard practice.
