This year's Cyber Monday deals are just around the corner now and we're already starting to see promising early sales at several retailers. While it's not officially Cyber Monday 2024 yet, we've hit the prime deals season with Black Friday barely a week away. As promised, I've started to populate this page with all the best early deals ahead of Cyber Monday so our readers don't miss a single thing.

Note that these aren't 'official' Cyber Monday deals but we usually see all these seasonal discounts blend into one over the period of late November and early December, so they're definitely worth their time. I've attached news of the official upcoming Cyber Monday sales just down below - which will mostly be landing on the day itself and the prior weekend.

Between now and then, expect plenty more recommendations on this page so don't hesitate to bookmark and revisit. You'll also find some handy buying advice and more details on what to expect further down this page.

We have Cyber Monday deals news, folks! Several major retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart have all confirmed the dates for their their upcoming Cyber Monday sales. Amazon's big event will be kicking off a full two-days early on the prior Saturday and is set to include discounts of up to 50% off tech, clothing, toys, houseware, and much more. Best Buy's Cyber Monday sale will be more of a traditional set-up, with the retailer's event going live on Cyber Monday itself. Note, however, that I expect there will still be plenty of deals knocking around on the prior weekend at this retailer - likely the remnants of its Black Friday deals.

Walmart's Cyber Monday sale will be a two-phase event, with Walmart Plus members getting early access to the sale at 5 p.m. ET initially. The sale will then open up to everyone at 8 p.m. ET so don't forget to tune in then if you're not a member. Generally speaking, I don't expect any of the deals to sell out within the initial three-hour period, but you never know.

My 10 favorite deals ahead of Cyber Monday

With fast performance for a smartwatch and a sleek design, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is instantly likeable. And now you can save up to $150 when you trade in your current device – alongside a flat $60 discount. Samsung's latest wearable provides more precise heart rate tracking than previous models, while it also helps you monitor how stressed you are and how well you’re sleeping. Think of it as your personal assistant on your wrist and you’re not far off. It even suggests how to respond to messages and notifications.

Everything about this mobile phone is big. The size, the specs, the performance, and especially the camera. All of these made it our pick for one of the best phones you can buy right now. It now also helps that the cost is dramatically reduced thanks to this awesome deal ahead of Cyber Monday. Available today is a free storage upgrade alongside a trade-in rebate of up to $800 off - both superb deals. If the trade-in doesn't float your boat, however, then you an instead opt for a $300 upfront discount - bringing the 512GB model down to its lowest price yet.

The LG B4 is one of the most affordable OLED TVs on the market, and Best Buy has the 48-inch model on sale for $649.99 - just $50 more than the record-low price we briefly saw last week. Its self-lit OLED pixels and Dolby Vision together enhance color and contrast beyond what the average backlit TV can do. Its built-in gaming features and 120Hz refresh rate make it an unbeatable deal for gamers looking for an upgrade.

Apple slashed the recommended starting price of the iPad 10.9 (2022) to $349 earlier this year, but Amazon has now dropped that figure even further. It's great value for money at this price if you need an all-around tablet. We said Apple's latest base-level tablet is a big upgrade over the previous generation model in our iPad 10.9 (2022) review, with a larger Liquid Retina display, a new A14 Bionic chip, improved cameras, USB-C support, and a sleek design.

Moving on to gaming laptops, my favorite cheaper option is this outstandingly good value Dell G15 with an RTX 4060 and Ryzen 7. These are outstanding specs to get at this price point and should be more than enough to get you started if you're aiming to play games at 1080p resolution. With 16GB out the box, this one doesn't need any glaring upgrades - although a 512GB SSD doesn't go far these days unless you're installing games with less storage requirement.

When is Cyber Monday 2024?

Cyber Monday 2024 will fall on December 2nd but there will be plenty of deals to consider well ahead of this date. For the record, Cyber Monday always takes place after the weekend following Black Friday - which itself immediately follows Thanksgiving.

Both Black Friday and Cyber Monday started as one-day-events but in recent years we've seen a gradual shift towards retailers offering much more expansive sales. Right now, for example we've already seen early deals from Amazon, Samsung, Dell, Target, and many other retailers.

Generally speaking, some of these early Cyber Monday deals can be worth your time and we usually recommend our readers start shopping from early November onwards.

Adobe's wide-ranging 2023 shopping forecast report found that early discounts averaged at 12 to 20% off around November 1st, followed by further reductions of up to 30% in the week preceding Black Friday. I wouldn't treat this as the gospel, however, as the early deals tend to get better each year.

While we can't get our crystal ball out and determine exactly what this year's Cyber Monday deals will entail, we can confidently say you'll see some of the lowest prices all year on highly reviewed tech. Last year's sale, for example, had some outstanding options for tech lovers across the board.

We saw record-breaking discounts across a range of our favorite models here at TechRadar, such as the MacBook Air 15, the Dell XPS 13, and the iPad 10.9. While there were plenty of TV deals starting as low as $50, Our TV of the year, the stunning Samsung S90C OLED was on sale for its lowest-ever price over Cyber Monday. Gamers also had some great choices in the form of decent Xbox Series X and Meta Quest 3 bundles (including discounts and free games).

Outside of core tech, we also found some superb discounts on small appliances, with air fryers starting at just $29, record-low prices on Shark and Dyson vacuums, and plenty of options for coffee machines, Instant Pots, and other useful kitchen additions.

Other areas where we're expecting fantastic Cyber Monday deals are in competitive categories like toys, mattresses and apparel. Of the three, we'll be most heavily featuring mattresses in our Cyber Monday roundup since we personally review mattresses all year round. We've generally observed some of the best prices on our favorite mattresses over Cyber Monday so stay tuned for those.

Samsung S90C OLED 4K TV
The Samsung S90C OLED was TechRadar's best TV of last year and it's still an amazing buy. We gave it a full five stars in our Samsung S90C review praising its stunningly bright, contrast-rich pictures. You also get extensive gaming features, a super slim design, and good built-in sound. It might not be a new set, but it's still a top performer and an awesome bargain if you can get it at a sufficiently reduced price. Right now, the record low is $1,499 for the popular 65-inch model so if you see it for any lower over Cyber Monday definitely consider picking this excellent TV up!

Apple MacBook Air 13 (M3, 2024):
The latest MacBook Air debuted earlier this year with its powerful M3 chipset. Our five-star MacBook Air 13-inch M3 review praised its excellent performance, lengthy 18 hours of battery life and slick fan-less design. We think it's one of the best laptops you can buy right now if you've got a decent budget for a portable and powerful machine and it's a particularly good buy for creatives and anyone after a high-end device. So far, the lowest price has been $899 for the baseline 256GB configuration but we're hopeful it'll get another $50 to $100 off over Cyber Monday.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
With its 6.8-inch OLED display, lightning-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and a class-leading suite of cameras, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is a formidable pocket companion. Released in February of this year, we think Cyber Monday will almost certainly have an amazing deal on this stunning flagship. So far, the lowest price ever is $969 unlocked at Amazon so we're hoping for a Cyber Monday deal of $899 or lower. It's likely we'll also have great deals at the major carriers and Samsung itself - the latter of which sometimes offers freebies and excellent trade-in rebates as well.

Is Cyber Monday better than Black Friday?

In terms of deal quality - not really. Both events feature relative parity when it comes to overall discounts. You may see a few Cyber Monday specials and visa versa, but generally speaking you'll see the same things on sale with similar prices.

We've been covering both events for years here at TechRadar and we can confidently say you'll be able to get great tech deals on both days. It used to be the case that Black Friday was more focused on brick-and-mortar sales while Cyber Monday was more online-based, but that's simply not the case now. Both are primarily online-focused these days - and you don't need to rush out to find a great deal. As previously mentioned, you may even have a few days to consider your purchase and do some research.

In terms of spend, Cyber Monday actually exceeds Black Friday at $12.4B vs $9.98B, which we'd put down to the 'fear of missing out' factor and the fact that consumers are more aware that they have time to research now.

Once discounted on Black Friday, retailers don't tend to further discount items on Cyber Monday, although we do often see 'flash sales' or something similar. These don't tend to be on massively popular tech like iPads or Air Pods, but they do sometimes cover more nice things like vacuums or cameras. Amazon in particular loves a 'lightning deal' so keep an eye out for those throughout the period.
