Only last week, I drew attention to a cracking early Black Friday deal on the world’s best beard trimmer, the Braun Series 9 Pro – however, at the time, only UK-based Amazon shoppers could benefit from the discount. Now, though, American shoppers can save big on Braun’s flagship shaver, too.
Amazon currently has the all-guns-blazing PowerCase variant of the Braun Series 9 Pro at $299.94; that’s 21% lower than its usual $379.99 RRP. And sure, 21% off isn’t quite as good as Amazon’s still-active 57% saving in the UK, but the Series 9 Pro’s RRP is much, much higher in the latter region (£649.99), so the final deal price is similar, wherever you reside in the world.
I reviewed the Series 9 Pro back in 2022, and it's still the shaver I use to this day. Effortlessly easy to use and even easier to clean, its five-element, sensor-assisted cutting head delivers as close a shave as you’ll find without going full razor, and an attractively-designed PowerCase keeps the trimmer’s battery ticking over for what seems like an eternity (I plug my unit in, maybe, once a month?).
At the time of reviewing, my only criticism of the Series 9 Pro was its ridiculous retail price, but Amazon's current deal – in both the US and UK – has made that figure much more reasonable. In other words, if you’re looking to upgrade your shaving game in 2024, this is the Black Friday deal to go for.
