With an Intel Celeron processor and 4GB DDR4 RAM, this Chromebook isn't going to be setting any records, but it's a great 2-in-1 for young students who'll love the splash of teal color on the outside, while you'll love that it's $40 off at Walmart for Black Friday.

Dell Latitude 3445 Chromebook: was $1,191.14 now $599 at Dell
There was a time when Chromebooks selling for more than $500 would have been scandalous, but as ChromeOS's popularity grows, so does the high-end Chromebook's spec sheet. This beauty, marked down 50% at Dell's online store, packs an AMD Ryzen 3 7320X, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, a 256GB M.2 SSD, and a 14-inch full HD+ (1200p) display, so it is a steal at this price.

We won't lie, this is hardly a powerhouse Chromebook - but it's one of the cheapest laptops money can buy right now, at a staggeringly cheap $63. With a super-compact 11.6-inch display, this is an excellent pick for a child's first laptop, especially given the security features and user-friendly interface of ChromeOS. This price is for a refreshed model, which means it's been used, but has been thoroughly checked by Amazon.

It may essentially be just a larger version of the MacBook Air 13-inch, but if that's what you want then that's what you get - and it's now reduced to a new lowest-ever price at Amazon. Our MacBook Air 15-inch review praised the display, performance, design, and speaker array, although we did think the jump in size hurt one of the MacBook Air's key selling points - its portability. Nevertheless, the is still an impressive laptop at a good price following this new $250 discount.

The new base model of the 14-inch MacBook Pro has got a $150 price cut already. This is for the model with the M3 chip with an 8-core CPU and 10-core GPU, plus 8GB memory and 512GB SSD. This is a nice discount for a new MacBook, but it's not the most powerful model out there.

Here we go folks - this is the cheapest price we've ever seen for a Dell XPS 13 laptop, and it's one of the latest models no less. As you'd expect, this isn't the highest configuration since it's got a 12th gen Intel Core i5 chipset, 8GB of RAM, and a 256GB SSD, but this is a superb price for such a premium machine. The main selling points for the XPS 13 are the gorgeous aluminum chassis, excellent display, and incredibly lightweight design that's perfect for everyday carry. Lenovo LOQ: was $950 now $649.99 at Best Buy
The most affordable laptop right now that offers an RTX 3050 GPU. Compared to the GF63 Thin listed here, it has a more recent Core i5 CPU, 50% more video memory, and a much bigger 1TB SSD. However, it only has 8GB DDR5 RAM but it’s still a stunning offer. You can however upgrade the memory in less than 10 minutes if you’re a tinkerer. A $300 saving on this laptop is nothing to be sniffed at.

The $250 price cut is certainly eye-catching, and while the specs aren't amazing - the RTX 2050 GPU in particular is quite old and under-powered these days - for kids looking for their first gaming laptop to play Minecraft and other games that aren't too demanding, this price isn't bad at all.

Cheap gaming laptops can be a little iffy but we're thoroughly impressed with this MSI GF63 in the Walmart Black Friday sale. Not only does it feature an absolutely rock-bottom price for a machine with an RTX 3050 graphics card, but it also comes complete with a full 16GB kit of RAM. An Intel Core i5-11400H chipset and 512GB SSD round out the specs here for a decent starter machine for 1080p gaming.

Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3: was $1,049 now $749.99 at Walmart
This is absolutely the cheapest option for a 4000-series GPU gaming laptop, and it comes with some excellent specs that ensure you can max out settings on any AAA PC game. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS CPU, an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, 16GB RAM, and 512GB of storage

HP Omen: was $1250 now $799 at Best Buy
This clearance sale from Best Buy sees the price of the HP Omen gaming laptop shaved by a mammoth $450, without any corners cut. You get a super fast RTX 4050 GPU, a Core i5 CPU, 16GB of RAM, and 512GB SSD. The screen is a larger-than-usual 16.1-inch 1080p model with a 144Hz refresh rate to ensure smooth graphics. It’s a great all-rounder machine for anyone looking to do a bit of coding or programming outside of gaming. 

Gigabyte G5 15.6-inch gaming laptop: was $1,099 now $799.99 at Best Buy
Need something a little cheaper? This Gigabyte G5 is an officially listed 'early Black Friday deal' from Best Buy and features an impressive $300 off. Inside, it's packed in an Intel Core i7, RTX 4060, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD – all great specs to have at this price point. Overall, this one isn't a world-beating machine, but it's a superb choice if you want a cost-effective gaming laptop that can handle 1080p resolution. Recommended.

MSI Delta 15.6-inch gaming laptop: was $1,699 now $799.99 at Newegg
This MSI Delta at Newegg is an older machine now, but it's still great – and it's basically half-price right now. Inside, it features exclusively last-gen AMD components, but they aren't the entry-level stuff, they're actually mid to upper range and still more than capable of outputting some fantastic performance at 1080p. The only downside we can think of with this machine is that the RX 6700M will lag behind with Ray-Tracing performance versus the equivalent Nvidia graphics card. Otherwise, however, you're getting fantastic bang for the buck with this early Black Friday deal.

MSI Sword 15: was $1,099 now $899 at Walmart
One of my preferred deals on this Black Friday sales list is yet another MSI gaming laptop. The Sword adopts a cool white and blue finish and punches well above its price tag. With a Core i7 GPU, an RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB GDDR6, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB SSD, it is seriously good value for money. Its elegant design makes this gaming laptop a great choice for a work device. 

Asus ROG Strix G15 (2022): was $1,199.99 now $997 at Amazon
Asus has great quality gaming laptops and this model from last year is now under $1,000. It features an AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU, a Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, 16GB DDR5 RAM, and 1TB SSD of storage. This model can handle any PC game at high settings with no issues, including AAA titles.

Asus Chromebook 14 CX1400CMA: was £249 now £132 at Amazon
A great value Chromebook with a respectable 1080p screen, the Asus Chromebook 14 is an excellent mid-range Chrome laptop that is currently almost a third off at Amazon. The Intel Celeron N4020 CPU at the core of this Chromebook offers superior performance to the MediaTek chips you'll find in similar cheap laptops, too.

Save £30 on this stylish Chromebook with Intel Celeron processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of storage. At under £250, it's a bargain for school or college, or just as a home laptop that you use for light use and everyday tasks.

The first generation MacBook Pro 13-inch with Apple's own silicon has plummeted in price ahead of Black Friday, and has a massive £399 price cut, putting it at a similar level as the M1 MacBook Air, but with a bit more flexibility thanks to its better thermal performance, so it can work harder for longer. With 8GB of memory and 256GB SSD storage, this is a brilliant deal for a laptop that remains an excellent performer.

This is the lowest price yet for the M2 model of the MacBook Air - and it's almost sold out!
