Motorola recently launched a flagship device, Moto Edge 30 Pro, in India. Now, a budget device, Moto G82, by the brand has also appeared on multiple certification websites like WiFi Alliance, TDRA, BIS, and more.

One thing to notice here is that the smartphone carries different model numbers at different certification websites. This can also mean that we can probably see multiple variants of the smartphone in India.

According to a report published by MySmartPrice, the smartphone carries model numbers XT2225-1 and XT2231-3 on the EEC listing. These listings have also suggested that the device will support dual-band WiFi. It will be based on the Android 12 operating system

What can we expect?

Multiple listings of Moto G82 have suggested that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.8GHz and a maximum clock speed of 2.21GHz. The processor will be coupled with an Adreno 619 GPU as well as 8GB RAM.

From what we can figure out, it seems like we can see one more smartphone with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. As the chipset is being carried by other smartphones like Vivo T1 5G, iQoo Z6, Realme 9 Pro, etc. The launch of Moto G82 in India is surely going to increase the competition in the sub-Rs 20,000 segment

The smartphone scored 651 in the single core tests and around 1850 in the multi core tests on Geekbench. It will be too early to make a comment on what we can see in terms of display. Considering the previous launches, Moto could offer an AMOLED display in the upcoming offering.

However, it depends on a lot of factors. Previously we have seen an IPC LCD display in Moto G51 and an AMOLED display in Moto G31 which came as a shocker. Apart from that, it looks like readers have to wait for a while in order to know more details regarding the specifications and features of the smartphone.
