The phone comes in two flavours – The OnePlus 10R Endurance Edition and the regular OnePlus 10R. The first one sports a 4500 mAh battery and a 150W charging support. As per the company, this phone can be charged from 1 percent to 30 per cent in just 3 minutes and it takes just 17 minutes for the phone to go from 1 per cent to 100 percent.
Interestingly Xiaomi also claims a similar timeframe for its Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge which debuted in January and comes with 125W charging support.
The regular variant comes with a “paltry” 80W fast charging and sports a 5000 mAh battery pack. To recall, 80W charging speed has been the standard for most OnePlus flagships till now and can fully charge the slightly larger battery pack in just over 30 minutes.
The company says that the Dimensity 8100 Max is exclusive to OnePlus and is slightly faster than the regular Dimensity 8100 chipset. This chipset comes coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 flash storage.
The OnePlus 10R sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch response rate of 730Hz. In terms of optics, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary camera, an 8MP fixed-focus ultrawide and a 2MP macro snapper. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front.
The OnePlus 10R is the first Realme device that has been rebranded as a OnePlus phone. Also, oddly, the pricing of this phone is lower than the OnePlus 9RT which was launched in January this year.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite
The Nord CE 2 Lite is a stripped-down variant of the Nord CE 2 and comes with various hardware changes that help the company to keep the pricing in check.
The phone ships with a 6.58” IPS LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate display compared to the 6.4-inch AMOLED panel used in the Nord CE.
The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 which is 5G capable offering an additional option to the users who’re looking for a budget 5G phone. It comes with a triple camera setup at the back with a primary 64MP sensor coupled with two 2MP snappers. A 16MP selfie camera is present under the hole punch cutout at the front.
The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging over the Type C port.
OnePlus Nord Buds
The Nord lineup is being developed as a self-sustained lineup and the introduction of Nord Buds is a step in the same direction. The Nord Buds are the first-ever accessory under the Nord lineup and are the cheapest TWS from OnePlus.
The Nord Buds sport a rather unique design and come with a flat and wide stem. The buds feature 12.4mm titanium-plated dynamic drivers and offer Dolby Atmos support. Though the Dolby support is limited to select OnePlus flagships including the OnePlus 7 series, 8 series, 9 series, and 10 series of phones.
The Nord Buds come with IP55 water and sweat resistance, Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless connectivity and a low latency mode that is compatible with select OnePlus phones. The company claims a battery life of up to 7 hours on the buds and additional 23 hours of charge in the case totalling up to 30 hours of playback in all.
