Realme 9 4G along with Realme Buds Air 3 debut in India

Apart from launching its first flagship phone Realme GT 2 Pro, a new laptop and an Android streaming stick, Realme has added another smartphone, Realme 9 4G, to the Realme 9 series

This is the sixth smartphone of the series and a major highlight of the device is the 108MP primary shooter offered by the brand. In terms of design, it is safe to say that the device looks quite similar to Realme 9 Pro

Apart from that, the company has also dropped the Realme Buds Air 3 which features Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). These buds are the successors of the Realme Buds Air 2 launched in 2021. They have an ergonomic design and are light in weight which makes them comfortable to carry for a long time.

Realme 9 4G's 6GB RAM variant with 128GB internal storage is available in the Indian market for a price of Rs 17,999. The 8GB RAM variant of Realme along with 128GB internal storage can be purchased for Rs 18,999. The smartphone is being shipped in three colour options -Meteor Black, Stargaze White, and Sunburst Gold. 

The phone will start selling from April 12 and as a launch offer, the company is offering an instant discount of Rs. 2000 on HDFC cards.

On the other hand, The Realme Buds Air 3 with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) are available in the market for a price of Rs 3,999. The buds will be available at Rs. 3499 during the first sale today. The buds have two different colour options - White and Blue. Both the products are exclusively available on Flipkart.

Realme 9 4G, Buds Air 3 specifications and features

 Starting off with Realme 9 4G, the smartphone features a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display panel of the device has a 360Hz touch sampling rate and 1000 nits of peak brightness. 

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor that will put it in straight competition with devices like Oppo K10, Redmi Note 11, Samsung Galaxy A23, etc. The smartphone operates on the Realme UI 3.0 based on the Android 12 operating system

In terms of optics, Realme 9 4G flaunts a triple rear camera setup including Samsung's ISOCELL HM6 108MP primary shooter, 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter. At the front, the smartphone rocks a 16MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone draws power from a 5000mAh battery along with 22W fast charging support.

Talking about the Realme Buds Air 3, it comes with a 10mm dynamic bass boost driver offering an enhanced audio experience. They pack Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature along with transparency mode and a gaming mode for low latency. 

As claimed by the company, the buds can go on for 5.5 hours when ANC is enabled and for around 7 hours without ANC. Along with the charging case, the buds can last for 30 hours battery life with 400mAh inbuilt battery. The earbuds carry IPX5 certification for resistance to water. 

The Realme Earbuds also have a dual device connection feature that allows the user to connect the device with two devices simultaneously and switch between them as per their requirement. Furthermore, the audio experience can be customized via the Realme Link app that is available for both Android and iOS devices.
