Realme GT 2 Pro goes on sale for the first time today

Realme’s flagship phone - Realme GT 2 Pro will start retailing in India from today. The phone was recently announced in India along with a bunch of other devices.

The Realme GT 2 Pro is the company’s first-ever phone to ship with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under the hood. It comes with a triple camera setup with the primary 50MP Sony IMX755 sensor.

Realme GT 2 Pro price, availability and launch offers 

The Realme GT 2 Pro is available in three different colour options - Paper Green, Paper White, and Steel Black colour options. The retail price of the GT 2 Pro has been set at Rs. 49,999 for the 8GB + 128GB storage variant while the 12GB + 256GB storage option priced at Rs. 57,999.

The phone will be available to purchase online via Flipkart and Realme’s official web store.

The company is offering an instant discount of Rs. 5,000 for SBI and HDFC cardholders bringing the effective price down to Rs. 45,999 and Rs. 52,999 respectively. Additionally, the company is offering the Realme Watch S worth Rs. 4,999 for just Rs. 1 along with the phone. Moreover, the phone can be purchased under the no-cost EMI scheme as well.

Realme GT 2 Pro features and specifications 

Even though the Realme GT 2 Pro comes with a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display the phone is comfortably light at just 189 grams. This is an LTPO 2.0 display that sports 1440x3216 pixels resolution with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1000 Hz touch-response rate and a peak brightness of 1400 nits.

Under the hood, the GT 2 Pro has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The phone supports RAM expansion using the virtual RAM technology that lets you use the phone’s storage as RAM whenever required.

In terms of optics, the phone has a triple camera setup at the back. The primary sensor on this phone is a 50MP snapper that comes with OIS, a 50MP snapper with a 150-degree ultra-wide-angle lens and a 3MP lens with a microscopic zoom feature. On the front, the phone has a 32 MP camera for selfies and video calls.

Powering the phone is a 5000 mAh battery pack that supports 65W fast charging and the company is bundling the charger in the box. Sadly, wireless charging is missing. Other key features include stereo speakers, NFC, GPS, and more.
