Realme GT Neo 3 with 150W charging support gets a launch date
Launching on April 29 in India
Finally, the India launch date of Realm GT Neo 3 has been announced by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth. The smartphone will be launching in India on April 29th.
To recall, the Realme GT Neo 3 made its China debut a couple of months ago. The design of this device is inspired from the car race track and carries a dare to leap branding at the rear panel along with the two parallel stripes.
While we do not have any information about the tentative pricing of the phone, however, based on the Chinese pricing, which starts at CNY 1,999 or Rs 24,000, it is safe to assume that the phone could be priced somewhere around Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
The Indian variant of the Realme GT Neo 3 is going to be similar to the Chinese variant. The smartphone may come up with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The device will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor paired with Mali G510 GPU. Furthermore, the fingerprint scanner of the device is doubled up as a heart rate monitor as we have already seen in Realme 9 Pro Plus.
It was already teased a few days ago that the device will be launched in India with the 150W charging support. It will be powered by a 5000mAh battery.
Second Meditek Dimensity 8100 device in India
The Realme GT Neo 3 will be the second device in India to sport a Dimensity 8100 Soc. While the first phone - OnePlus 10R - will launch on April 28. Incidentally, the OnePlus 10R is also a rebranded version of the Realme GT Neo 3.

The 150W fast charging is rumoured to charge the phone fully in less than 17 minutes. This is somewhat similar to the claim that Xiaomi made with it’s Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge phone that comes equipped with 125W fast charging.
Though this ultra fast charging tech is subject to various conditions like the ideal temperature, the device needs to be in idle state or works best if the phone is switched off and is not in use apart from others - however, considering the fact that the summer season is fast approaching, these upcoming phones will definitely send the temperatures soaring.
