Redmi entered the wearable space in India with its affordable Redmi Smart Band. It offers a colour display with touch screen, heart rate sensor, up to 14 days better and more all without burning your pocket. 


PUBG Mobile is not giving up on the Indian market just yet

In an attempt to make its comeback, the PUBG Corporation will be going through a major ownership reshuffling. The company is now exploring ways to provide PUBG experience for India without Tencent. 


The Android 11 update is finally rolling out to Pixels and others

Google started rolling out the stable version of Android 11 for Pixel devices. Other OEMs also joined the party with Android 11 beta including OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, and Xiaomi. Let’s hope the adoption is faster this time.


Jio has ambitious targets for its entry into the smartphone market

Jio is apparently in talks with some smartphone makers in India to produce 10 crore smartphones. These smartphones will be affordable and will run on Android platforms and will be made in collaboration with Google.

Just a day after the global price announcement, the Xbox Series S and Series X prices were announced in India. Spoiler alert: they are nowhere as exciting as their global counterparts. Maybe the PlayStation 5 will surprise us?

OnePlus is looking to expand its presence beyond large screen devices. A new leak hints that the OnePlus Watch might be in the works with a circular design with round display. Will it run Wear OS though?


Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 launches at a surprisingly great price

The second-generation flagship foldable device from Samsung landed in India this week. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is priced cheaper than its predecessor in India, and will go on sale starting September 14. 

In other news this week, Reliance received another round of investments, this time from Silver for its retail business. While PUBG is figuring out a way back for itself, we learnt more about the upcoming FAU-G game, giving us a better understanding of what to expect when it launches.
