Vivo replaced the Y series in India with the launch of the first T series smartphone, the Vivo T1 5G. Now, it seems like the company is all set to launch the Vivo T1 Pro 5G. The smartphone has appeared on both the Geekbench certification website and the Indonesian Telecom site. It carries the model number V2151.

A report by MySmartPrice consisting of the Geekbench listing suggested that the Vivo T1 Pro 5G scored 790 in the single-core tests and around 2856 in the multi-core tests. The listing has also confirmed that the smartphone will be based on the Android 12 operating system and pack 8GB RAM.

We cannot say anything regarding the design of the Vivo T1 Pro 5G. Nonetheless, the smartphone is going to be an upgraded version of the Vivo T1 5G in terms of camera and performance. Another major highlight here is that the device will be boasted as a gaming smartphone.

Vivo T1 Pro 5G to compete with Realme Free Fire Edition

Yes, you read it right, Vivo T1 Pro 5G could be launched as a reply by the company for the Realme 9 Pro Plus Free Fire edition. Rumours regarding the upcoming device suggest that Vivo is going to partner with Razer in Malaysia, a gaming hardware brand, to enhance the gaming experience for the users.

Furthermore, the rumour mills are churning out reports that suggest the smartphone could officially partner with PUBG mobile. Vivo could also host a PUBG Mobile competition for the customers in Malaysia at the time of the smartphone launch. However, as we know that the game is banned in India, we can see a different variant of the device reaching the Indian shores.

What can we see?

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G is said to run on a Snapdragon processor codenamed 'Lahaina'. The codename has been used in the past for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor. It offers a maximum clock speed of 2.4GHz.

It can be said that the smartphone would face off devices like iQoo Z5, Realme 9 5G SE, Xiaomi 11 Lite NE 5G, etc. All the devices run on the Snapdragon 778G SoC and share a similar set of specifications.

Considering that the Vivo T1 5G ships with an LCD display, we can expect an AMOLED display in the Pro variant of the series along with a 120Hz refresh rate. At the time of the launch, we can also see multiple RAM and storage variants of the smartphone.

As for the pricing, The high-end variant of the Vivo T1 5G is available in the market at a price of Rs 19,900 for 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. We can expect the Vivo T1 Pro 5G to be priced somewhere around Rs 21,000 to 24,000 as most of the devices with similar specs are available in that price range.
