After the recent launch of the Vivo T1 5G, reports suggested that the company was also ready to launch the T1 Pro 5G sometime next month. Now, as the expected launch dates approach, new details have emerged providing more information about the device.

According to the report by MySmartPrice, the Vivo T1 Pro 5G specifications hint that the smartphone could feature the Snapdragon 778G chipset and a 90Hz AMOLED display. It could also launch in the Indian market at a price below Rs 25,000. Before making its way to India, there are chances that Vivo would first launch the T1 Pro 5G in Malaysia.

Now that more details have surfaced, here’s everything we know so far about the T1 Pro 5G smartphone.

Vivo T1 Pro 5G expected specifications

Based on the new reports, we could expect the Vivo T1 Pro 5G to sport a 6.44-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device could also come with the Snapdragon 778G SoC clubbed with 8GB RAM. The smartphone might also get 128GB of internal storage while supporting RAM expansion up to an additional 4GB.

The camera on the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is expected to come with a primary 64-megapixel camera, a secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a third 2-megapixel macro lens. The waterdrop on the front of the display is expected to house the 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G may launch with Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 12 out of the box. We would have to wait until the launch date to find out how many more years of software updates the device would get in the future.

Powering all the internal hardware of the T1 Pro 5G, we could expect a 4,700 mAh battery pack with support for the company’s 66W fast charging as well.

An enticing price on launch day

Pricing the Vivo T1 Pro 5G is crucial for the success of its first-day launch. The company is already ahead of the competition by providing a more affordable option when it comes to smartphones with the Snapdragon 695 SoC with the T1 5G and also the Z6 5G from its sub-brand, iQoo.

It would be interesting to see the company launch the device in India to compete with the Realme 9 Speed Edition, Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite NE and Samsung Galaxy M52 5G.
