Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 12 Pro in the Indian market alongside Xiaomi Pad 5. The smartphone is a flagship offering by the brand that made its China debut in November 2022. Now, it is being said that the Xiaomi 12 series is going to get a new device, Xiaomi 12 Lite, that will be launched at an affordable price point.

The images of the Xiaomi 12 Lite have surfaced online via Weibo. Considering the images, the smartphone looks quite similar to its siblings in terms of design.

We can see a rectangular camera module with three sensors at the back. Apart from that, the smartphone seems to have thin bezels and punch-hole cutout for the placement of the front camera.

The device will be flat-edged and the power button volume rockers will be placed on the right spine. One thing which we can assume from the leaks is that the smartphone is going to ditch the metallic frame and have a plastic body.

What can we see?

Xiaomi 12 Lite's leaked images confirm the existence of a 108MP primary snapper in a triple rear camera setup. We have already seen a similar primary sensor configuration in devices like Xiaomi 11i. The other two sensors may be an ultra-wide angle shooter and a macro or depth shooter.

Previous reports suggested that the smartphone could sport a 6.55-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In addition, we can see the device running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor and competing with devices like Realme 9 SE 5G, iQoo Z6 Pro, etc.

The smartphone will operate on the MIUI 13 based on the Android 12 operating system. It will support 67W fast charging. Other information regarding the smartphone is still under the wraps. However, we can expect more information our way as soon as the launch approaches.
