Is the Nintendo Switch 2 launching this year?

Thanks to the full Nintendo Switch 2 reveal, we know that the console will launch on June 5, 2025. It's accompanied by Mario Kart World at launch, as well as a new Pro Controller with back-paddle buttons. The base console is priced at $449, and pre-orders have now gone live. In terms of the console itself, it supports 120fps, and a 4K output when docked.

Now that we're well into 2025, there's plenty of big games to look forward to in the coming months. These include a few games that were delayed out of last year, as well as some very highly anticipated titles indeed.

From Doom: The Dark Ages to GTA 6, the games slated for upcoming release look to be a very fine line-up indeed, regardless of whether you're playing on console or PC. Some games are much closer than others however, so it can be a little tricky to keep track of everything. That's where we come in.

It's looking like a big year for Xbox, with April seeing the release of South of Midnight. PC players will also get to play The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered.
