Report: OUYA Android games console hitting the UK in March for £99
Stereoscopic 3D version said to be on the way too
The Kickstarter-funded OUYA games console will be available in the UK from March, according to reports this weekend.
The Android-powered console secured an incredible $8.6 million in funding from the crowd sourcing site after pledging to bring low-cost, free-to-try, console-quality gaming back to the television set.
Now Pocket-Lint's sources have claimed that enough stock will exist by March to get the console into the hands of UK gamers.
The OUYA website currently claims that all pre-orders will be shipped in April.
3D console coming too?
The console began shipping to top-level backers and developers in the United States for $99 (£61) in December. It is available for Brits too, but there's a £12.45 shipping cost
Pocket-Lint also has word that much of the cash procured through the Kickstarter appeal could be spent on developing a new 3D-compatible version of the console.
