For me, there's are two absolutely stand-out, slam-dunk deals: first is $999 for a 65-inch Samsung S90C at Samsung – this was our TV of the Year in 2023, and for this price, there's nothing that launched in 2024 that can touch it for picture quality and features. In the UK, you can get the 55-inch Samsung S95D for £1,499 at Amazon, which means you're getting the best high-end OLED TV on the planet for the price of a mid-range OLED. It's unbelievable.

Delivering excellent picture quality with crisp textures, bold and natural colors, and rich contrast, the Bravia 8 is one of the best OLED TVs around. It also comes with a good selection of gaming features, including 'Perfect for PS5' ones, but it's the Bravia 8's built-in sound that impresses most. Immersive, expansive, and accurate, not many rival mid-range OLEDs can deliver sonically as well as the Bravia 8. LIVE: Latest Updates
Based in the UK and looking for something unique in your OLED TV? Then be sure to check out Philips' Ambilight OLED TVs. Ambilight involves the use of lights in the rear of the TV to project colors onto the wall behind, creating a real sense of immersion as the colors give the TV a much larger feel.
Ambilight can be customized as well to follow the picture on screen (as shown in the picture above), follow audio, or project a solid color.
We here at TechRadar are big fans of Ambilight, so much so it made us feel like kids at Christmas when we test it. There are several models to choose from including the OLED759, OLED809 and the OLED909 (pictured above). If you want something different in your OLED TV, check these models out.
If you're in the US, unfortunately Philips' OLED TVs aren't available, but Philips' Hue lighting system is and this is way to re-create this (in a manner of speaking) – and they've just crashed to a record-low in time for Black Friday!
Looking for an OLED in a larger size? The LG C3 77-inch model is seeing some significant discounts for Black Friday. It still comes with the brighter Evo panel at this size, which delivers vivid colors, higher brightness and superb contrast and black levels. Ideal for those looking for a bigger screen to compliment their home theater setup.
In the US, the 77-inch C3 has dropped to $1,899.99 at Best Buy and in the UK, the 77-inch model has had its price slashed to £1,899 at Amazon. This isn't the lowest prices we've seen for this TV, but it's still a 77-inch OLED for under $/£2000; a fantastic deal.
LG 77-inch C3 OLED TV US deal: was $2,299.99 now $1,899.99 at Best Buy
LG 77-inch C3 OLED TV UK deal: was $2499.99 now £1,899 at Amazon
If you've been browsing for an OLED TV, you may have noticed the term 'QD-OLED' as well, but what is it? Introduced by Samsung in 2022, QD-OLED is a type of panel tech that combines OLED panels with Quantum Dot (QD) to enhance brightness and color - the same Quantum Dots that Samsung uses in its QLED TVs, like the Samsung Q80D.
QD-OLED has been seriously successful for Samsung, as both the Samsung S90C and the Samsung S95D (pictured above) won our TV of the year in 2023 and 2024 respectively! Even Sony got in on the act with its Sony A95L TV in 2023.
Usually, you'd end up paying a bit more for QD-OLED, but we've seen some spectacular deals on QD-OLED TVs this year, including the Samsung S95D's staggeringly low price of £1,489 for its 55-inch model in the UK, which is way cheaper than we thought we'd see it this year.
So, you've bought a new OLED TV and now you're thinking about a premium upgrade to its sound quality? Look no further than the Samsung HW-Q990D Dolby Atmos soundbar. This 11.1.4 channel system delivers serious power, excellent detail and superb immersion across its four units. It's easily one of 2024's best soundbars and we're seeing some excellent discounts for Black Friday!
In the US, the Samsung HW-Q990D is down to $1,197.99 at Walmart and in the UK, its had its price slashed to £979 at Smiths TV. This isn't the cheapest we've seen these soundbars, but anytime they get near these prices, it's worth it.
A heads up for the UK deal; we've seen this cheaper at Amazon today, but it's from a third party seller so we're recommending a trusted retailer for our chosen deal.
Samsung HW-Q990D soundbar US deal: was $1,997.99 now $1,197.99 at Walmart
Samsung HW-Q990D soundbar UK deal: was £1,499 now £979 at Smiths TV
Sony's OLED TVs are some of the most popular available, thanks to their stunning contrast, vibrant colors and refined details. Now, you can get Sony's 2024 OLED TV, the Bravia 8, for its lowest price.
The 65-inch Bravia 8 is available in the US for $1,699.99 at Amazon US and in the UK, it's down to £1,999, excellent offers for a Sony OLED at this size.
Sony 65-inch Bravia 8 US deal: was $2,799.99 now $1,699.99 at Best Buy
Sony 65-inch Bravia 8 UK deal: was £2,499.99 now £1,999.99 at Amazon
You might notice that some OLED TVs offer a 120Hz refresh rate, while others offer a 144Hz rate. Is this something you need to pay attention to? Only if you're a hardcore PC gamer.
The Xbox Series X and PS5 (and PS5 Pro) can do 4K video at 120Hz (meaning 120 frames per second) for super smooth and clear visuals. Only PC hardware can do 144Hz, so if you have no plans to build a beastly rig that you’ll hook up to your TV, 144Hz is entirely optional.
However, the high-end OLED TVs all have 144Hz support anyway, and they also do 120Hz, so you might well end up with it – I’m just saying that there’s no need to let it sway your decision.
Is burn-in still a problem for OLED TVs? If you researched OLED TVs a few years ago, you may have been aware that these TVs used to suffer from a problem known as 'burn-in', where logos commonly displayed on the screen might permanently leave a ghostly mark on everything you watch.
That problems has been effectively solved now. It's not impossible for burn-in to rear its head, but there's an incredibly low chance of it hitting for at-home users. A load of different subtle technologies are used by TVs to limit it, ranging from huge improvements to the screen hardware itself, to careful management of the pixels' health by the TV software, to even simple things like deploying a screensaver if the TVs detect that a static image has been left on the screen for a while.
Several members of the TechRadar team have OLED TVs from 2021 onwards at home as our regular family TV, and none has exhibited any sign of burn-in.
If you're looking for an OLED on the smaller side, say for bedroom gaming or as a second TV, the LG C4 comes in a compact 42-inch size. Thankfully, it still delivers contrast-rich and colorful pictures and has all the gaming features you'd want, including 4K 120Hz, VRR, ALLM and Dolby Vision gaming.
The C4 42-inch has fallen to a record-low price of $896 at Amazon US, and it's been discounted to £892 at Amazon UK. We've seen the latter cheaper before, but this is still an excellent deal.
LG 42-inch C4 US deal: was $996.99 now $896.99 at Amazon
LG 42-inch C4 UK deal: was £999 now £892 at Amazon
Looking for a new OLED TV but don't want to use a soundbar with it? Sony and Panasonic are two of the best brands for TVs with incredible built-in sound. Both the Sony Bravia 8 and Panasonic Z95A (pictured above) scored highly for their built-in sound when we tested them.
If you're in the UK, you can also look at Philips' OLED809 and OLED909, which wowed us in our testing with their better than expected sound quality.
It's not say other brands built-in speakers are bad – in fact Samsung's are quite good – but some may find they want more from their OLED's built-in sound and Sony and Panasonic will deliver.
Thinking of buying an OLED for gaming? It's worth noting that only Samsung and LG's TVs have four HDMI 2.1 ports, so it you've got multiple consoles, bear this in mind!
Other brands do have four HDMI ports, but only two of them are HDMI 2.1, so you're limited on what you can plug in at one time, especially if you have multiple consoles and a soundbar.
Look to Black Friday favorites like the LG G4, LG C4, Samsung S90C and Samsung S95D for the best OLEDs for gaming.
OLED TV battle time: it’s the LG C4 vs the LG C3. Both are getting big discounts in the Black Friday deals listed above, so which one should you buy?
The C3 is a 2023 model, so you’ll find it for less than the new C4 in an equivalent screen size. While both provide excellent picture quality, the C4 has a brighter picture (we measured 1,065 nits peak brightness on the C4 vs the C3’s 830 nits in our LG C4 review). It also has slightly better gaming support with 144Hz refresh rate (certified by Nvidia), and a new Dolby Vision Filmmaker Mode picture mode that makes movies with HDR look as the director intended without having to muck with settings.
Otherwise, the two sets have mostly equivalent performance and features, so we think you’ll be happy buying either one, though that Dolby Vision Filmmaker Mode on the C4 sure is a nice feature.
Want a Sonos soundbar at a super-cheap price to go with your new OLED TV? The Sonos Ray is the company’s most basic, budget soundbar, and it’s now selling for just $169 at Amazon US and £135.67 at Amazon UK.
Those are both great deals for a soundbar that not just provides an upgrade over the built-in speakers in most TVs, but gives you entry to the multi-room, networked Sonos ecosystem. A main benefit to that is lossless quality music streaming over Wi-Fi, and in our Sonos Ray review, we found that its impressive sound quality for the price extended to music. Sonos products rarely get discounts this good, so dig in on this one.
Sonos Ray US deal: was $279 now $169 at Amazon
Sonos Ray UK deal: was £279 now £135.67 at Amazon
Looking for an OLED TV that both looks and sounds good? Panasonic’s 65-inch Z95A is now selling for $2,499 at Amazon – a $700 discount – and the 55-inch Z95A is £200 off at John Lewis. Those are great prices for Panasonic’s top OLED TV for 2024, one that combines a high-brightness MLA OLED panel with a 5.1.2-channel Dolby Atmos speaker system that’s so powerful you won’t need to add a soundbar.
Panasonic just returned to the US TV market in 2024 after a decade-plus absence, and its new Z95A joins the ranks of top models from LG and Samsung among the best OLED TVs. We loved its punchy yet film-like picture when we tested it, and were blown away by its sound, which is incredibly immersive for built-in TV speakers. Grab these deals before they go away!
Panasonic 65-inch Z95A US deal: was $3,199 now $2,499 at Amazon
Panasonic 55-inch Z95A UK deal: was £2,199 now £1,999 at John Lewis
Want a great OLED TV at a great price? LG’s C4, the mid-range model in the company’s lineup, is now selling for $1,199 at Best Buy in the US and £1,199 at Currys in the UK. Here’s your chance to get a TV that impresses equally for movies and gaming, and one that also features a new Dolby Vision Filmmaker mode that makes 4K movies with HDR look exactly as the director intended.
While not as bright as LG’s flagship G4 OLED, the C4 has better than average brightness for an OLED TV and is notably brighter than last year’s LG C3. Films, games, TV shows – we think you’ll agree that they all look great on the C4.
LG 55-inch C4 US deal: was $1,499 now $1,199 at Best Buy
LG 55-inch C4 UK deal: was £1,899 now £1,199 at Currys
The 65-inch LG G4 is getting serious discounts in both the US and the UK well in advance of Black Friday. That’s great news for anyone looking to buy one of the best OLED TVs available.
I had the chance to view the G4 and LG’s mid-range C4 OLED TVs side-by-side, and the G4’s brightness advantage was clearly evident. Yes, it costs more than the C4, but if want to get the main picture quality benefits of OLED – specifically deep, detailed blacks and rich color – along with high brightness, the G4 is the LG OLED TV for you.
Amazon’s $2,196.99 deal on the 65-inch LG G4 (you’ll need to put it in the cart to see the price) is a record-low price, and the same goes for John Lewis’ £2,239 deal in the UK.
LG 65-inch G4 US deal: was $3,399 now $2,196.99 at Amazon
LG 65-inch G4 UK deal: was £2,249 now £2,239 at John Lewis

One of 2023's most versatile and popular OLED TVs, the LG C3 covers all the bases with picture, gaming and smart features. In 2024, for the right price, it's still an excellent buy.
Always a Black Friday favorite, the 65-inch model has hit a near record-low price in the US, falling to $1,296 at Amazon. We've seen it $20 cheaper, but this is still an excellent offer.
UK readers fear not as the 65-inch C3 has also hit a record-low of £1,199 at AO, but be quick as there really isn't much sign of it elsewhere!

OLED TVs really shine when given high-quality sources and there's no better than 4K Blu-ray. We here at TechRadar are huge fans of 4K Blu-ray, thanks to its superior picture and audio quality over 4K streaming.
If you want the right player to pair with your new OLED TV, there's no better than the Panasonic DP-UB820 (pictured above), one of the best 4K Blu-ray players on the market.
While I haven't seen any great deals on the DP-UB820 yet for Black Friday (we're hoping), I've put the best deals we could find today below.
Panasonic DP-UB820 US deal: was $497.99 now $399.99 at Amazon
Panasonic DP-UB820 UK deal: was £349 now £299 at Amazon
Looking for an OLED for cheaper? Then the LG B4 is for you. It still gives you all you'd want from an OLED TV – rich contrast, stunning colors and incredible detail – but without breaking the bank.
The B4's 48-inch model, new to the LG B series, is perfect for smaller rooms and bedroom gaming. In the US, it's hit an amazing record-low of $599 at Best Buy, while in the UK, it's also hit its lowest ever price of £799 at Currys.

Now how about our 2023 TV of the year? The Samsung S90C introduced QD-OLED at a more affordable price than ever before but still delivers across the board, beating every other mid-range OLED along the way – and beating this year's TVs because it's so low in price now.
For those in the US, the 65-inch model is down to a (frankly ridiculous) record-low of $999 at Samsung US – a steal for this TV. It's worth grabbing this one while you can as stock seems to be running low everywhere!
Samsung 65-inch S90C: was $1,399 now $999 at Samsung
What better place to start when looking for incredible OLED TV deals than with our TV of the Year? The magnificent Samsung S95D is a five-star TV thanks to its spectacular picture quality, new reflection-beating screen, and stack of gaming features.
And the great news is its 55-inch model has hit a record-low! In the US, the 55-inch model has dropped to $1,897.99 at Amazon US, while in the UK it's hit a mind-blowing price of £1,499 at Amazon UK. That's cheaper than LG's mid-range C4, for Samsung highest-end TV. Unbelievably good value.
There's no better time to grab one of the best OLEDs we've ever seen here at TechRadar.
