The budget wearables market is seeing a new entry with the launch of the Gizfit 910 Pro smartwatch from Gizmore, the Delhi-based audio and wearables manufacturer. The smartwatch is a successor to the company’s Gizfit 910 smartwatch and is available for a price of Rs 2,499 through Flipkart as well as the company’s offline partner stores.

The Gizfit 910 Pro comes with Bluetooth calling functionalities and is aimed at users who are searching for more affordable options while also providing fitness tracking features. The smartwatch features a 1.69-inch IPS LCD touch display with a max brightness of 500 nits. Since the smartwatch is targeted at fitness enthusiasts, the design is squared off like the Gizfit 908 Pro.

The metallic body of the smartwatch provides a premium finish. It comes with a SpO2 sensor as well that helps to monitor blood oxygen levels just like the Apple Watch. The Gizfit 910 Pro also features a heart rate and blood pressure monitor which can be tracked with the companion app. The smartwatch also provides constant reminders to stay hydrated which is a nifty feature on these summer days.

The Gizfit 910 Pro can monitor many fitness activities like cycling, swimming, yoga, outdoor indoor walks and running sessions. Sports enthusiasts can also track sessions while playing a few of the supported sports like football, basketball and badminton.

One other unique feature of the Gizfit 910 Pro is the inbuilt voice assistant that comes on the smartwatch. It allows users to control many of the functions with voice commands similar to Siri. Also. once paired with your smartphone, the Gizfit 910 Pro will also mirror your notifications.

The smartwatch comes with an in-built microphone which enables a hands-free calling functionality. It is IP67 water and dust resistant and weighs in at just 45 grams.

When it comes to battery life, the Gizfit 910 Pro smartwatch comes with 2-day battery life but can be extended up to 7 days when not using the calling feature. Charging the smartwatch takes approximately 2 hours according to the company.

A competitive wearables market

While Gizmore has launched smartwatches and speakers in the past, the competition is getting intense for many brands in India. Under the ‘Make in India’ initiative, many new companies have entered the wearables market and it looks like consumers will see more affordable alternatives released soon in the future.

It would be interesting to see smartwatches become the next hot segment in the country now that India is already a leader when it comes to smartphone sales.
