Google's 'I'm feeling lucky' gets a makeover
Chronically unlucky people everywhere rejoice
Google search can now reach a broader range of emotions thanks to a recent tweak to the "I'm feeling lucky" button.
Now, moving your mouse over the button will make it spin, then it will land on new results like "I'm feeling trendy" or "I'm feeling wonderful."
"Yesterday, we asked you how you're feeling and by far, the most popular answer was 'hungry'!" Google announced on its official Google+ page.
"What does this have to do with Google Search, you ask? We recently added some other emotions to our I'm Feeling Lucky button, like artistic, wonderful, and of course, hungry."
Search your feelings, you know it to be true
It isn't just a cute gimmick to add personality to your search, as each new "feeling" will highlight new content through one of Google's various services.
For example, clicking on "I'm feeling doodley" will launch an archive of past Google doodles while "I'm feeling hungry" will make use of Google+Local Zagat ratings to find nearby restaurants.
"I'm feeling wonderful" meanwhile will take users to a random location from Google's World Wonders Project. "I'm feeling trendy" seems to be the most common phrase to pop up, which highlights the top trending news articles for the day.

Perhaps this is an indication that Google is realizing few people actually use the "I'm feeling lucky" button.
The new feelings may not take you to your desired search, but it can be a fun way to find new content that might otherwise have gone unnoticed.
