Moto G52 powered by Snapdragon 680 SoC launched in India

Motorola has announced the launch of the Moto G52 in India. This phone is a successor to the Moto G51 which was launched last year. Before making its way to the Indian market, the Moto G52 was unveiled in the European market.
The Moto G52 comes with a large 6.6-inch AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary camera and a 5000 mAh battery to power the internals.
The phone comes in a couple of storage and memory variants of 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB. The phone is available at an introductory price of Rs. 14,499 and Rs. 15,499 respectively. It comes in two colour options - Porcelain White and Charcoal Grey.
The Moto G52 will start retailing from Mar 3 via Flipkart and as a part of the launch offer the company is offering a discount of Rs. 1000 for HDFC credit cards and EMI transactions.
Moto G52 specifications and features
The Moto G52 is among the lightest and slimmest devices in its category in India. The phone weighs just 169 grams and is just 7.99 mm thick yet comes with a large 5,000 mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging.
The phone sports a 6.66-inch pOLED display with a hole punch cutout for a selfie camera. The company claims that this display allows it to provide even thinner bezels than the ones present on a phone with an OLED panel resulting in an immersive viewing experience.
The phone comes with IP52 certification for water-resistant design and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It runs on MyUX 12 on top of Android 12 out of the box. The Moto G52 is a 4G phone that is powered by a Snapdragon 680 SoC chipset at its core. It comes in 4GB/64GB and 6GB/128GB memory and storage variants.

In terms of optics, the Moto G52 has a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. There is a 16MP selfie camera housed in the hole-punch cutout at the front.
