Due to the pOLED panel, the company was able to reduce the bezels around the bottom of the smartphone to give it a more edge-to-edge display. The technology is also expected to make the display even more durable than the premium AMOLED technology.
The product does not provide any other details about the hardware of the device, but it is expected to run on the Snapdragon 680 SoC with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Moto G52 may also support expandable storage of up to 1TB via a microSD card.
In terms of software, the smartphone is reported to launch with Android 12 out of the box. This has been Motorola’s strength and it’s safe to assume that the company will provide feature software updates for at least 2 years.
When it comes to camera specifications, the Moro G52 may feature a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel secondary ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The Moto G52 may also feature a 5,000 mAh battery pack with support for 33W fast charging as well. According to the company, the device is the slimmest in the category compared to competing smartphones to feature a larger battery in a thin 7.99mm chassis. Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint sensor which doubles as the power button, stereo speakers and also the 3.5mm headphone jack.
