Motorola is soon expected to announce the Moto G52 smartphone. Reports have now emerged with images of the smartphone leaked by tipster Evan Blass. The smartphone codenamed ‘Rhode’ is expected to be the follow-up to the Moto G51 that launched last year.

The Moto G52 5G is expected to feature the Snapdragon 680 chipset with 4GB or 6GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device may come with 128GB or 256GB with support for expandable storage via microSD.

According to the report by 91Mobiles, the tipster has hinted that the Moto G52 might come with a 5,000 mAh battery pack as well since last year’s model came with similar specifications. The device may also feature a 6.55-inch 90Hz FullHD+ pOLED display.

The Moto G52 is rumoured to come with a 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor on the rear. It could also come with a 16-megapixel punch-hole selfie camera on the front of the device.

No refreshed design

The design of the Moto G52 pictures leaked does not indicate any change in the design aesthetics. The leaks hint at a similar design as last year’s Moto G51. Many of Motorola’s devices now share the same curved camera enclosure as even the flagship Moto Edge 30 Pro.

The Moto G52 may continue to keep the fingerprint scanner integrated into the power button on the right side of the device below the volume buttons.

First of the latest lineup

As reported previously, Lenovo is apparently working on many more Motorola devices to launch this year and the Moto G52 may be the first to be announced. The company is expected to launch a premium Moto Edge 30 Ultra that might be the first smartphone with the biggest 200-megapixel camera sensor from Samsung. The device was reportedly codenamed ‘Frontier’

The company may also release the Moto Edge 30, the younger sibling of the Edge 30 Pro that is available in India at a price of Rs 49,999. While the device is codenamed ‘Dubai’, there are also other devices named ‘Dubai+’ and ‘Miami’ that are also expected to be revealed soon in the coming weeks.
