The OnePlus' roadmap for India suggested that the brand is going to launch multiple smartphones this year. As per that, the company is prepping up to launch two new phones - OnePlus 10R and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, along with the OnePlus Nord Buds in India on April 28. Amidst all this, another Nord series smartphone, OnePlus Nord 2T, is expected to roll out in May.

In a recent report by MySmartPrice, it has been mentioned that the smartphone has appeared on the TDRA certification website. Apart from that, the camera details of the device have also surfaced online through the Camera FV5 website.

The smartphone could be seen carrying model number CPH2399 and the moniker, OnePlus Nord 2T, has also been confirmed via multiple listings. According to the Camera FV5 listing of the smartphone, it will come with the main camera that will produce images of up to 12.6MP resolution.

Previous reports suggested that the device is getting a 50MP primary shooter. We can see the device working on the pixel binning technology. Furthermore, the brand will also offer Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) with the main sensor. Apart from that, the smartphone may feature an 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter and a 2MP monochrome shooter.

At the front, we could see a 32MP snapper for capturing selfies and attending video calls with the ability to click 8MP images. The EIS feature will be offered for the front sensor too.

OnePlus Nord 2T expected specifications

OnePlus Nord 2T may come equipped with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. The device could be seen running on the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor with high capacity RAM. The smartphone will operate on the Oxygen Os 12 based on the Android 12 operating system

For the placement of the front camera, it will most probably have a punch hole cut out at the top left corner of the display. It is being said that the device will be powered by a 4500mAh battery along with 80W fast charging support.
