One of the most recent and spoken-about launches from brand OPPO has been its e-commerce focused product OPPO K10. I have been using the device for about a week now and in my opinion, it has presented the most value for money proposition in the price segment. Let’s dive into some of the marquee features that allow the OPPO K10 to deliver brilliant performance.
Dynamic Memory for Limitless Moments
The OPPO K10 is available in two RAM/ROM configurations of 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB. What sets this smartphone apart from others in the price range is the fact that it not only offers RAM expansion up to 5GB but also an expandable external memory that lets you migrate your smartphone data with just one tap onto the SD card. The RAM expansion technology makes use of available storage space to be used as a virtual RAM. This greatly alleviates the performance of any smartphone. When I availed the additional 5GB of RAM it made switching between apps feel faster and smoother than before. This made gaming, video viewing, and other daily functions that much smoother. The expandable storage also adds up to 1TB of additional space using a dedicated microSD card slot allowing me to play around with the camera as much as possible since I did not have to worry about the storage space on my device.
The combination of Dynamic Memory along with expandable RAM under the 15K-20K price segment gives the OPPO K10 a definitive edge over other smartphones in the segment.

The OPPO K10 features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 Processor that offers the Qualcomm® Kryo™ 265 CPU with up to 2.4 GHz frequency. The processor has been designed to focus on power efficiency in order to deliver more long-lasting and limitless interactions to the users. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 makes it possible for the OPPO K10 to deliver advanced gaming, entertainment, and multimedia performance without draining the CPU power. The processor designed with new 6nm CPU architectures supports multi-camera experiences thereby enabling users like me with an enhanced low light photography experience. The device also has HEIF support that makes it possible to store high-quality photos and videos easily.
The device delivered a lag-free experience even while I had multiple apps open on my smartphone. The signal optimization was also good and did not face any call drop issues during my usage. The OPPO K10 also made the gaming experience quite pleasurable. With no heating or lag issue while playing multimedia games it made my overall experience of the device very smooth and optimized.
All in all, the device is great for everyday usage as it allows more power and efficiency in the hands of users and delivers on what it promises.
Industry-leading power optimization
The OPPO K10 comes with a large 5000mAh battery that is good for the kind of performance the device is built to deliver. After extensive gameplay, watching videos, and using the smartphone for pretty much everything I did, the battery lasted a decent day and a half which by any means is good battery performance.
The sizeable battery size is supported by OPPO’s lightning-fast charging solution- the 33W SUPERVOOCTM. With just 5 minutes of charging, you get over 3 hours and 38 minutes of call time which is great for any emergency situation. The OPPO K10 supports type C charging which of course is my preferred charging solution as it is more convenient and safer to use at all times.
The OPPO K10 power optimizations just don’t end there. The device offers the coveted Super Night-time Standby and Superb Power Saver mode. My personal favorite here though is the Super Power Saving Mode that prompts every time the battery level drops to 10%. After enabling it I could choose up to 6 apps to meet my most urgent requirements.
The OPPO K10 is a pleasant experience when it comes to charging and battery support and offers one of the best in the segment power optimization solutions.
Vivid and Immersive Display Experience
The OPPO K10 offers a 16.73cm (6.59”) 90Hz Color-rich Punch Hole Display for the ultimate viewing experience. The 90Hz refresh rate makes for a smooth display experience. In fact, OPPO K10 offers the adaptive refresh rate technology which is the first OPPO self-developed technology for LCD screens that automatically adjusts the refresh rate in line with different usage scenarios. While using this I could feel zero screen jitter and a smooth display experience.
I also enjoyed watching my favorite OTT content thanks to the 1080*2412 Screen Resolution that made prolonged viewing more exciting and convenient. Now with all that extended movie binge session, OPPO ensured optimal eye protection as well. The OPPO K10 offers Sunlight and Moonlight Display that offers advanced screen visibility in bright environments and gentler display in dark environments thereby offering a limitless display experience that is gentle on your eyes.
Smooth and intuitive UI experience
The OPPO K10 runs on the new upgraded ColorOS 11.1 which is more fluid and intuitive than the previous generation. The software also offers a system booster that allowed me to prioritize my most-used apps for smooth running. I could easily play games without lag and watch videos without delay. Another cool feature is the Bullet Screen Message which allowed me to not miss any call or message while playing my favorite games thus giving me a more comprehensive gaming experience. Some of the other standard features that OPPO users are now pretty much used to include Optimized FlexDrop, three-finger google translate and anti-peeping notifications among others. Overall, the UI is smart, reduces system load, and makes for a snappier user experience.
There are a host of other functional features on the OPPO K10 that help the device deliver a more rounded performance experience. The side fingerprint for example allows users to unlock their mobile phone in the most comfortable way. This was especially handy when trying to unlock the phone in public places while wearing a mask.
The audio quality on the device is also good as OPPO K10 comes with Dual speakers’ dual microphones. Even in noisy environments like the metro or restaurants, I could enjoy clear calls with a noise reduction effect.
Not just Performance
Personally, for me, the OPPO K10 is a star product for its performance, but there are other parameters too that make it a stellar device.
The OPPO K10 comes with OPPO’s proprietary and innovative Glow design technology available in two brilliant colors-Black Carbon and Blue Flame. This not only renders the device the perfect balance of gloss meets fashion but is very practical as well. The fingerprint-resistant rear panel enhances the overall look and feels good factor of the smartphone. On top of that, the device also has IP54 rating for dust and water resistance making it very durable and sturdy. OPPO K10 has a thinner center frame that makes the device look premium and is also very light to hold.

The camera performance on the smartphone is also good. Both the front(16MP) and rear camera systems (50MP+2MP+2MP) on this smartphone are AI-enhanced, making photography quite a fun experience. The smartphone can take powerful low-light portraits thanks to the AI Photo Suite that allows bokeh effects and natural retouching of photos. Not to forget the power of selfies, the 16MP AI selfie camera takes some great portraits in a variety of lighting conditions. The 50MP Main Camera with 5P Lens takes clear and brighter pictures. In night-time scenarios, the main lens along with other Night camera features like Night flare portrait, Nightscape mode, and Night Filters gives a more enhanced night photography experience. This especially comes in handy when moving out in the night with friends to capture the perfect night shots.
Verdict: An All-Rounder Powerhouse
The OPPO K10 is a well-rounded smartphone that delivers great performance and utmost value for money. The device is loaded with functional features like RAM expansion, industry-leading power optimizations, and a flagship-grade AI-enhanced camera. All aspects of this device are a true treat but the key highlight for me that sets it apart from the competition is its performance.
Alongside the OPPO K10, the brand also launched OPPO Enco Air2, the true wireless earbuds. Priced at just INR 2499, the earbuds offer improved audio quality with a 13.4mm composite titanized diaphragm driver along with a 19um PET titanium-plated dome that offers AI in-call noise cancellation. The device is lightweight and each bud just weighs 3.5 grams which can be comfortably worn for the entire day. The translucent jelly case lid design gives it a really unique look. When paired with the charging case, the earbuds can last up to 24 hours—perfect for all-day listening. One of the coolest things is that the device gets fully charged in just 1.5 hours.
