Oppo launches K10 and K10 Pro in China - Here's everything you need to know

Oppo has officially launched the K10 and the K10 Pro in China for an approximate starting price of Rs 23,000 and Rs 29,000 respectively. The devices come with an improved vapour chamber cooling system that helps to control thermals inside.

In India, Oppo announced the launch of the K-series with K10 last month. The smartphone launched with the Snapdragon 680 SoC and a 6.59-inch 90Hz FullHD+ display. The smartphone also featured a 5,000 mAh battery pack with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. However, the device primarily was aimed at users who preferred 4G bands when it came to connectivity.

According to the report by FoneArena, the latest K-series smartphones make up for the 5G connectivity but also add more premium features to the device. Here is everything you need to know about the Oppo K10 and K10 Pro.

Oppo K10 and K10 Pro pricing and availability

The Oppo K10 is available in Dark Night and Ice Blue colours with an option to choose between three variants. The device comes with 8GB RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of storage which cost CNY 1,999 and CNY 2,199 respectively (approximately Rs 23,000 and Rs 26,000). A higher variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 29,000).

Pricing of the K10 Pro starts at CNY 2,499 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB model while a bump in storage to 256GB will cost CNY 2,799 (approximately Rs 33,000). The 12GB RAM variant will retail at CNY 3,199 (approximately Rs 37,000). It is available in Titanium Black and Sunny Blue colour options.

The Oppo K10 comes with a 6.59-inch FullHD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device also comes with a max brightness of up to 600 nits. The smartphone features the Dimensity 8000-Max SoC and is clubbed with 8GB RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage on the base variant.

Talking about the camera, the Oppo K10 comes with a primary 64-megapixel lens, a secondary 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with a 16-megapixel camera.

When it comes to connectivity, the smartphone comes with Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, dual sim support, NFC and USB Type-C.

The Oppo K10 Pro on the other hand sports a slightly larger 6.62-inch 120Hz FullHD+ E4 AMOLED display with a higher max brightness of up to 1,300 nits with an integrated fingerprint scanner. At the heart of the device is the octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC clubbed with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 3.1 storage on the base model.

In terms of the cameras, the Oppo K10 Pro gets a 50-megapixel primary lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro lens. It retains a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

While both the Oppo K10 and K10 Pro come with a 5,000 mAh battery pack, the former gets a 67W fast charging support while the latter gets a higher 80W support. The devices also run on the latest Color OS 12.1 based on Android 12.
