Oppo Pad could be priced aggressively in India
Might be priced around Rs. 25,000
We already know that this year is a major year for the revival of the tablet market as a lot of popular smartphone-producing brands are coming up with their tablets. In a recent development, the Oppo Pad India launch timeline has surfaced online.
The Oppo Pad, which was launched in China a couple of months ago, will reach the Indian shores by the end of June 2022 or by the first half of July. The Pad is available in the Chinese market for a price of CNY 2,299. We can expect it to launch in India between a price range of Rs 25,000 to Rs 30,000.
Not only this but Oppo's sibling Vivo is also planning to launch the Vivo Pad in India. Previous reports suggested that the tablet by Vivo will be launched in India somewhere around June or July 2022.
On the other hand, it seems like Realme needs to take a step ahead in the tablet market as Realme Pad and Realme Pad Mini will be unable to compete in front of Oppo Pad in terms of specifications.
What can we expect?
The Oppo Pad comes equipped with an 11-inch IPS LCD display offering 2560x1600 pixels resolution. The pad consists of a 120Hz refresh rate for a super smooth experience.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor which we have already seen in devices like the OnePlus 9R, iQoo 7, etc. The tablet is supposed to get 8GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage.
The Oppo Pad flaunts a 13MP rear camera for basic level photography. At the front, the tablet gets an 8MP sensor for video calls and selfies. It draws power from an 8360mAh battery along with 33W fast charging support. The tablet comes with a Type-C charging port, weighs around 507 grams, and is 6.99mm in thickness.
