Amazon devices feature heavily in these early offers, as you might expect, with lots of cheap smart home tech like the Echo Pop and Fire TV Stick. I think there are some great appliance offers too, including some record-low prices on Nespresso coffee makers and Dyson vacuum cleaners that we've reviewed and rated highly here at TechRadar. Those are ones not to miss right now.
You can treat the Prime Big Deal Days sale as a kickoff event to this year's Black Friday deals season. The year's biggest sales event doesn't technically take place until November, but it starts earlier and earlier every year now to stretch over weeks instead of a single day. Contrary to the name, Amazon Prime Day actually ran for two days across July 16 and July 17 in 2024. Thousands of deals were available for 48-hours across Tuesday and Wednesday before the sale officially ended at 23:59 on July 17. However, some deals remain available on the days after the sale.
Will there be a Prime Day in October 2024?
Amazon has announced that it will run a second Prime Day-style event on October 8 – 9 in 2024. The retailer ran the event for the first time last year so it has brought it back a second time to kick off the huge end-of-year sales season.
As with the usual Amazon Prime Day sale, the deals will only be available to Amazon Prime members, so you need to sign up to get access. Consider this event a preview of the retailer's big Amazon Black Friday sale, with exclusive record-low prices on some products.
How do I become an Amazon Prime member?
You need to be an Amazon Prime member to access all Prime Day deals. A subscription costs $14.99 per month or $139 for a year.
