Realme Q5i with Dimensity 810 5G chipset debuts in China
Available in two colour options
Realme Q5 series has been making the headlines for a long time now. The series consists of three smartphones, Realme Q5, Q5i, and Q5 Pro. In a recent development, the Realme Q5i has been launched in China. The other two variants of the smartphone are scheduled to launch on April 20 in the home country.
This one can be said to be the low-end variant of the series. It has a water drop notch display with a thick chin and the camera module is placed at the top left corner of the rear panel.
Realme Q5i sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display coupled with a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor and it is based on the Android 12 operating system with the Realme UI 3.0 skin on the top.
The device comes with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with UFS 2.2 storage. The smartphone also offers dynamic RAM expansion up to 5GB. Realme Q5i flaunts a dual rear camera setup comprising a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth shooter with LED flash.
At the front, the device gets an 8MP camera for video calls and selfies. The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Realme Q5i pricing and availability
Realme Q5i's 4GB RAM variant along with 128GB internal storage is available for 1,199 Yuan which converts to Rs 14,350 approximately. The 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone paired with 128GB internal storage is available for 1,299 Yuan which roughly converts to Rs 15,550.
The smartphone is being shipped in two colour options - Graphite Black and Obsidian Black. As of now, there is no word regarding the launch of the smartphone in the global market.

There is a little chance that this lineup will be introduced to the international markets. We already have the Realme 9 5G that comes with almost same specifications and almost similar price point. However, looking at Realme’s history, this phone might end up in overseas markets, including India, but with a different moniker.
