Samsung Galaxy A23 5G renders reveal thick chin, side-mounted fingerprint sensor

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G, successor of Galaxy A22, has been making headlines for the last couple of months. Now, the latest leaks suggest that the device is going to have a 6.55-inch IPS LCD Infinity-V display. Furthermore, it will also have a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes. 

In collaboration with CollegeDunia, popular tipster OnLeaks has shared the renders of the device that gives a fair idea of its complete design. What we can see in the renders is that the smartphone will have a thick chin, and the front panel will have a water drop notch for the placement of the front camera.

The camera island is placed at the top left corner of the rear panel of the device with the Samsung branding at the bottom middle. The volume rockers and the power button are situated at the right spine of the device. At the bottom edge, we can see the USB Type-C port, speaker grille, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Samsung Galaxy A23 5G may come equipped with a 6.6-inch Infinity-V IPS LCD display. The smartphone is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and might be based on the Android 11 operating system. It could have 4GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 64GB or 128GB internal storage, further expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card. 

In terms of optics, Samsung Galaxy A23 5G might sport a quad rear camera setup including a 50MP primary snapper, 5MP ultra wide-angle snapper, 2MP macro snapper, and a 2MP depth snapper. At the front, the smartphone could get an 8MP front shooter for the sake of selfies and video calls. 

It may draw power from a 5000mAh battery along with 15W fast charging. Other connectivity options may be 4G VoLTE, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, etc.
