Samsung Galaxy M53 5G debuts in India with 108MP primary snapper

Samsung has released the Galaxy M53 5G smartphone in India today. The smartphone made its global debut just a few days ago. A major highlight regarding the device is the inclusion of the 108MP primary sensor.
In terms of looks, we can say that Samsung is not offering something really new. The design of the smartphone looks quite similar to that of the Galaxy F23. At the front, the smartphone has thin bezels and a thin chin which provide it a classy look.

The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is available in the Indian market at an introductory price of Rs 23,999 for the 6GB RAM variant paired with 128GB internal storage. The 8GB RAM variant of the smartphone with 128GB internal storage is available for Rs 25,999.
One thing that Samsung tried to put under the wraps is the original pricing of the device. The 6GB variant's original price is Rs 26,499 and the 8GB variant's original pricing is Rs 28,499.
The smartphone is exclusively available on Amazon and the first sale of the device is scheduled to be held on April 29 starting at 12:00 PM IST. It is being shipped in two different colour variants including Green and Blue.
Samsung Galaxy M53 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor with 6GB RAM along with 128GB internal storage.
The inclusion of the Dimensity 900 processor will put the smartphone in direct competition with the Oppo Reno 7 5G. The smartphone by Oppo is available for Rs 27,589 in the market. It packs features like triple rear camera setup with 64MP sensor, 45000mAh battery, and more. We can expect the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G to perform better than Oppo device in terms of camera as the former has a quad rear camera setup.

It operates on the Samsung One UI 4.2 based on the Android 12 operating system. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G flaunts a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary shooter, 8MP ultra wide-angle shooter, 2MP depth shooter, and a 2MP macro shooter.
The device rocks a 32MP front snapper for the sake of selfies and video calls. It draws power from a 5000mAh battery along with 25W fast charging support. For security purposes, the smartphone gets a side-mounted fingerprint scanner doubled up with the power button and face unlock feature too.
