When will the Black Friday PC deals start in 2024?

Black Friday takes place on November 29 this year, and we're already seeing plenty of great deals on PCs show up before the big day. Although the Friday-Monday period is generally where the biggest price discounts land, there's been a visible trend in recent years where retailers kick off their Black Friday sales early and don't necessarily reduce prices any further.

With that in mind, look to snag one of these deals now! Keep an eye on them when Black Friday rolls around, but know the price may not drop any lower than it already has.

Is Black Friday the best time to buy a PC?

While pinpointing a single "best" time is tough, Black Friday certainly makes a strong case. You'll find no shortage of deals on desktop PCs, whether you're looking for a budget build for the office or a premium all-out gaming rig.

PC manufacturers have already started rolling out their deals early to get a leg up on the competition, and some of these discounts will only increase the closer we get to Black Friday proper. So it is absolutely a smart time to make a purchase if your PC has been falling behind for a while now.

Plus, that's not to mention the incredible deals you can find on individual PC parts on Black Friday. If you don't mind getting under the hood, it's an excellent idea to take advantage of the sizable Black Friday graphics card and CPU discounts. With Nvidia's 50-series GPUs expected soon, you may want to hold off on an upgrade if you're already rocking a 30-series card. But, if you haven't upgraded in a few years, and you don't expect to get a top-of-the-line 5090, Black Friday is a fantastic time for a new GPU at a record-low price.

What Black Friday PC deals should I expect?

You can expect all sorts of PC deals on Black Friday. There are discounts on all-in-one mini PCs to take back your desk space, souped-up gaming PCs that can handle 4K gaming at high refresh rates, and everything in between - including no-nonsense tower computers for work or school that you can rely on to get the job done.

If you're looking for specific brands, Dell always has some greats deals on PCs that span the aforementioned gamut. Acer, HP, and Lenovo fall under the same category. ASUS and MSI will cover your gaming PC needs, and Apple nearly always puts the iMac and Mac mini on sale for Black Friday.

And, as we mentioned before, look out for Black Friday deals on all sorts of bundles and individual components. Motherboards, RAM, CPUs, GPUs...whatever your PC needs to be the best it can be, Black Friday almost certainly has a sale for it.
