Honor is making a strong comeback to the market boosted by its new phones that have Google mobile services back on board. Camera and Vlogging features

Let’s start things off with the most important feature you’ll get with the Honor 70. Honor has focused extensively on the camera from both a hardware standpoint as well as the software by including exclusive vlogging features like the picture-in-picture and solo cut mode.

In terms of hardware, this phone is featuring a 54MP Sony IMX800 main video camera which we see for the first time in a phone and which took some really good pictures in low light. The Honor 70 5G is also equipped with a 50MP 122-degree Ultra-Wide camera which also doubles as a Macro Camera.

The phone is also capable of capturing videos with a resolution of up to 4K at 30 FPS.

Solo Cut Mode

Content creators should be extremely excited for this next feature. The Solo Cut mode enables users to focus on a person in a video (with more than a few people in it) and the camera will follow that person and capture an additional video for that person, centred in this frame. The camera will also follow the person throughout the shooting even if they get out of the frame and get back, it’ll refocus on them and continue to record.

This feature is particularly beneficial to those who vlog and have multiple people in the shot because it makes life easier without the need for any additional footage. The AI algorithm in this mode defines the person by identifying multiple characteristics in it like their clothes and face to lock on the person and follow through with the shot.

Just because this ia a mid-range device, Honor doesn't feel like their users should make any sacrifices with design and looks. The Honor 70 in this Crystal Silver edition is certainly a head-turner with its intersecting lines, diamond cut design and beautiful shiny back.

The Honor 70 also comes with an axisymmetric dual camera ring setup that houses the triple camera and the flash. The phone weighs 178 grams which makes it light, yet feels sturdy to use. The device boasts a thickness of just 7.91mm with the front screen curved around the edges making it more comfortable to hold and use as well as making it feel slimmer than what it actually is.

The premium design of the phone certainly adds immense value to the already feature-packed phone.

Long battery life and 66-watt fast charging

Long battery life and fast charging have became more of a necessity than a luxury these days. Honor has been a pioneer in delivering fast-charging phones and has been known to introduce phones with great battery life.

The Honor 70 comes with a 4,800 mAh battery that can last around one and a half days without the need to recharge. Topping up this phone is a speedy process with a 66 watt charger (which comes in the box) giving around 55% of the phone’s battery life back in 20 minutes.

The Honor 70 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G+ 5G which is considered to be one of the best chipsets in the market for the mid-range segment. Paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB internal storage, you’ll can expect to have no issues while gaming or performing any intensive tasks on your phone. Honor has also provided its users with their own Honor Consumer Cloud platform that provides the users with added features like App Market, Game Center, Honor themes, and Honor Search.

Having Google services back on board will make the phone more appealing to a wider audience as well with Google’s massive database of apps and games in addition to their services that are crucial to many users who can’t live without it.
