In the modern marketing world, where you see brands hosting launch events every month to introduce one or two products every time, it is not often that you get to witness a launch event where a company dishes out multiple potentially segment-leading products in one go.
Xiaomi, however, did this today. The leading smartphone maker introduced a bunch of devices that include a flagship phone, an affordable-premium Android tablet and a new range of smart TVs.
Let us have a look at all the products announced by the company at today’s Xiaomi Spring Summer Festival in India. Starting with the Xiaomi 12 Pro, obviously.
Xiaomi 12 Pro
The flagship phone from Xiaomi comes with a gorgeous design and best in class hardware specifications. The Phone ships with a 6.7-inch OLED display with 2K resolution and a 120Hz screen refresh rate. Under the hood, it has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset which is coupled with up to 12GB of DDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of onboard super-fast UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone is powered by a 4,600mAh battery which comes with support for 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. The Xiaomi 12 Pro has not one but three different 50MP cameras – a 50 MP Sony IMX707 primary sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. On the front, it has a 32MP selfie camera.
The phone is priced at Rs. 62,999 for the base variant with 8GB of DDR5 RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The 12GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 66,999.
Xiaomi Pad 5
The introduction of the Xiaomi Pad 5 marks Xiaomi’s re-entry into the tablet market in India. This is the first-ever tablet launched by the brand after it introduced the original Mi Pad almost seven years back. The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes equipped with an 11-inch WQXGA E5 AMOLED display coupled with a 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate.

The tablet ticks almost all the required boxes when it comes to content consumption as it chips with TrueTone True colour display, HDR10, and Dolby Vision support.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor paired with 6GB RAM along with 256GB internal storage. The tablet operates on MIUI 12.5 customized skin with the Android 11 operating system. It draws power from an 8720mAh battery that also has 33W fast charging support.
The 6GB variant of Xiaomi Pad 5 with 128GB internal storage will retail at a price of Rs 26,999. While the 6GB RAM variant of the tablet with 256GB storage can be purchased for Rs 28,999.
Xiaomi Smart TVs
Xiaomi is the market leader when it comes to smart LED TVs in India. The company has now introduced the successor to the Mi TV 4A that was introduced last year. The Xiaomi Smart TV 5A comes with a bezel-less design and offers an immersive audio experience.
The new range of TVs has been introduced in three different size options - 30-inch, 40-inch and 43-inch. these are priced at Rs. 15,499, Rs. 22,999 and Rs. 25,999 respectively.
Additionally, Xiaomi also introduced the new OLED TVs under the Vision OLED TVs moniker. The Xiaomi Vision OLED TV will be available at a price of Rs 89,999. Though the company is offering the TV at a slightly lower introductory price making the deal a bit crispier and sweeter.
