In unpredictable times the last thing a business needs is a complicated communication system with several vendors. Not only it is expensive to maintain, but it also involves confusing tariff structures and unpredictable costs.

To move with the times and for employees to work and communicate to everyone from anywhere, employees need a flexible, mobile and simple communication platform. Ageing telephony systems just aren’t cutting it.

To help businesses get the communication system they need, Talk with Teams provides two different ways to get more from external calls with Teams: Vodafone Business Operator Connect and Vodafone Business Direct Routing.

Vodafone Business Operator Connect is the quickest, easiest way to get talking using Teams.

Businesses can choose from highly competitive, low-cost calling plans with no obligation and no hidden costs.

Vodafone Business Direct Routing is the best way to Talk with Teams when your environment is a little more complicated.

Businesses using it can get specialist support to get set up and ensure optimal Teams deployment. A plan can be chosen to meet specific needs, so you know you’re benefiting from great value and reduced-cost calling. Additionally, you can keep your existing PBX phone system and your PSTN-connected analogue devices operational while users and voice services are moved to Teams.

So why is there such a big trend now in people switching to making calls from Teams? There are numerous reasons, including the sheer number of people who now use the system in their workplace. Hybrid working plays a massive part in the need for businesses to communicate with employees who may be in far-flung locations as well as in their offices. Cost-efficiencies also play a big part as does the upcoming switch- off of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) in 2025.

Andy May, Head of Products & Services, at Vodafone Business, said: “Whichever solution works for you, by choosing Vodafone Business as your Talk with Microsoft Teams partner, you’ll receive a better voice experience, using enterprise-class voice integration designed to ensure call performance and availability you can rely on.
