Hardcore overclocking enthusiasts aside, there's a limit to how much memory performance most users need. We reckon this kit has enough in hand to satisfy nearly everyone while delivering it for a very reasonable price.
And don't forget, this is a 6GB kit. That means there's more than enough space to run oodles of applications without the need for any performance-sapping disk swapping.

At this price point, you can't have everything. However, it is a fact that the Kingston HyperX 1600MHz runs a little hot under load. This didn't unduly limit performance in our testing. However, high temperatures typically lead to shorter operating lives. Better cooling would be desirable.

You'll usually see this author name when the entire team has collaborated on a project or an article, whether that's a run-down ranking of our favorite Marvel films, or a round-up of all the coolest things we've collectively seen at annual tech shows like CES and MWC.
