Dell has some high-profile sales events throughout the year, every year, but you can probably guess what the biggest one is. That’s right, the Black Friday sale is the height of cost-cutting action when it comes to Dell hardware.

Whether you’re after a laptop suitable for everyday web surfing and emailing, or a more powerful model for gaming on – or tackling work duties, like spreadsheets, or more demanding tasks like video editing – Dell has you covered. And the same is true across a host of other PC hardware, like monitors for example.

In the past, Dell has applied some of the best Black Friday discounts out there, and 2023 is no different. With the Black Friday sale starting from today, and running through to November 27, you’ll be able to save up to 40% on selected Dell products.

Buying from Dell isn’t just about getting seriously large chunks of money knocked off the asking prices of laptops and other hardware, though. There are also numerous benefits that a purchase from the Dell store confers on the buyer. We’ll go into what these are exactly, later on, but first of all, let’s highlight some of the top deals on offer right now, and discuss why they’re such compelling purchases.

Dell deals

Let’s begin our brief exploration – call it just a taster of the array of offers from Dell for Black Friday – by looking at the Dell Inspiron 16 2-in-1 Laptop. As the name makes clear, this is a 2-in-1 laptop that converts into a tablet (by folding it over). It was already temptingly priced for what the device delivers, and it’s now £150 cheaper for Black Friday.

The Inspiron 16 has a powerful 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1360P Processor which has 12-cores and runs at speeds of up to 5GHz. This CPU, alongside a beefy 16GB of system RAM, offers plenty of performance to drive all your computing needs, ensuring you get the best overall laptop experience (or indeed tablet experience).

And with Intel® Iris® Xe integrated graphics in the mix, you can even enjoy PC games on this convertible laptop – the Inspiron 16 can handle low to mid-level gaming quite happily.

The touchscreen is a 16-inch panel with a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution, and it’s nice and bright, plus you get a spacious 1TB SSD for super-speedy storage. The Inspiron 16 2-in-1 is simply a fantastic option for those who want a laptop that can become a tablet when necessary, saving you the cost of buying a separate tablet – and during the Black Friday sale you’re getting a £150 discount on top.

Dell XPS 17

If you’d prefer a traditional laptop, then look no further than the Dell XPS 17 as an excellent top-end option. This notebook boasts a 17-inch screen with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200, and the display is one of Dell’s InfinityEdge panels, meaning it looks super-slick with barely any bezels.

Again, this is a laptop powered by an impressive 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-13700H processor with 14-cores and turbo of up to 5GHz for fast performance. This XPS 17 notebook pairs that processor with a speedy discrete GPU, enabling you to tackle gaming at impressive frame rates – even with modern games – and other heavyweight tasks besides.

This is a laptop that can help you conquer your workload, and subsequently provide an entertaining experience after you’ve finished the day’s tasks if you want to unwind with some gaming.

Dell is offering a hefty discount on the XPS 17 for Black Friday, and indeed all XPS models, with between 17% to 20% reductions in pricing meaning you could save well over £500.

Both of those are great laptops for consumers – and the XPS 17 is a solid choice for gaming, to boot – but what about business machines? Dell means business with its Latitude laptops, as you might be aware, and one of this range stands out as a superb choice right now.

Dell Latitude 5330 Laptop

That’s the Dell Latitude 5330 Laptop which benefits from a towering Black Friday discount of up to 40%. The Latitude 5330 boasts an Intel vPro® platform for improved manageability and security, and is powered by a 12th Gen Intel® chip which is customizable up to a Core™ i7 processor. That comes alongside 16GB of RAM, plus you get Wi-Fi 6E for super-speedy wireless connections.

It’s a smart and portable notebook with a 13.3-inch touchscreen, a backlit keyboard, and a whole host of security and privacy features. For example, secure and convenient logins are facilitated by a camera-based proximity sensor that wakes up the laptop when you sit in front of it, and locks the device when you get up and walk off. There’s also an onlooker detection system that can register someone sneaking a look at your screen, maybe from the seat next door on the train, and when this happens, it blurs (texturizes) the screen so they can’t make anything out.

On top of that, the notebook’s ExpressConnect feature allows you to use two network connections at once for faster downloads. This means up to 20% faster data transfer speeds, and optimizations to bandwidth usage provide 8 times better video quality – which makes a huge difference.

Let’s not forget ExpressCharge technology in the Latitude 5330, either, which allows the laptop to charge to 80% of battery life within an hour, for more battery longevity when you’re working remotely and on-the-go.

In short, the Latitude 5330 is designed for reliable performance, boosting productivity, and providing top-notch security and manageability for your business – all at a way cheaper price for Black Friday.

Dell 27 Gaming Monitor

The final discounted product we’ll put the spotlight on is the Dell 27 Gaming Monitor (model G2722HS). As the name denotes, this is a 27-inch screen designed for PC gamers, and it offers a Full HD resolution. That 1080p resolution helps to maximize the frame rates your GPU can achieve, meaning you’ve got the best chance of hitting the 165Hz refresh rate this monitor supports (165 frames per second, or silky smooth, in other words).

Helping further towards the cause of a smooth gaming experience is the incorporation of AMD FreeSync Premium technology (and the G2722HS is G-Sync compatible). With a fast 1ms response time to cap it off, the G2722HS is a steal at its normal price of £189, but with up to 40% off monitors for Black Friday, this is a seriously compelling choice for gamers looking for an affordable but high-quality display.

There are plenty of other laptops – for consumers, gamers, and small businesses – on sale for Black Friday from the Dell store, as well as monitors, notebook accessories, and a whole bunch of other tech goodies. But as well as a huge range of choice, along with those enticing discounts, there’s another good reason to buy from Dell – the many benefits that the retailer offers customers.

The benefits of buying from Dell

There are numerous bonuses for those who choose to buy from Dell during Black Friday (or any other time of the year).

For starters, on top of the discounts applied for Black Friday, Dell offers free shipping, so you won’t pay a penny more to get your purchase delivered to your door. There’s no minimum spend you’re required to make, either – everything gets free delivery.

Then there’s the Dell Rewards scheme, which gives you coupons to get money off future purchases from the Dell store. Reward points are awarded based on the amount you spend on any given product, and during the Black Friday period, those points are doubled up – on anything that you buy.

Furthermore, Dell’s price match means that if you find a product with the same specs elsewhere (at a major retailer) that’s cheaper, Dell will match that price. This applies for a period of 30 days after your purchase. Dell will even price match products that are seen cheaper on its own store in the following 30 days (though that isn’t likely to happen if you buy hardware with a Black Friday discount, of course).

Other bonuses include students and military personnel who can get Dell Advantage discounts, a scheme of benefits for small businesses, and the ability to use PayPal Credit to pay for your purchase over 12 months.

Don’t hang around

As mentioned, Black Friday is Dell’s biggest sale of the year, and as we’ve seen, there are many reasons to buy from the retailer, from the chance to save up to 40% on selected products, through to all the various bonuses you can avail yourself of.

Remember, the Black Friday sale runs from now until November 27, and any discounted products are subject to availability – when stock runs out, that’s it (note that there’s a maximum purchase limit of 5 units per customer). Also, the discounts mentioned above might change throughout the Black Friday period.

If you’re ready to check out the above highlighted offers, and many more enticing deals besides, you can Shop Now at Dell.
