Amazon Prime Day 2025 in Singapore: what to expect from the annual Amazon sale
Prime Day is expected to make a return in July and we've got all the information you need to get ready for the sales event
Amazon Prime Day in Singapore has been getting bigger and better with each passing year and now comprises two main events: Prime Day in July and a second Prime Big Deal Days in October. The Amazon Prime Day in July has usually been the bigger of the two, but both events in 2024 lasted a full six days in Singapore – matching what we also observed in Australia. Customers in other countries remained reserved to just two or three days.
We're perfectly aware that it's only January and so we obviously don't yet have a clue when the next Prime Day sale will take place in Singapore, but based on previous years it usually crops up in mid-July. We will of course publish the official dates of Prime Day in Singapore as soon as we know them – our aim is to help you get as prepared as possible ahead of time so you can snap up the best deals when they go live.
Being a Prime-exclusive sale, you will need to have an Amazon Prime membership in order to take advantage of any deals when they go live. Not only does a membership grant you access to the deals, but it comes with other benefits including free shipping and access to Prime Video. If you've yet to sign-up for a subscription, you can grab a a 30-day free trial right now to test out the service. Alternatively, you can hold off until later in the year and sign-up for a trial when Prime Day kicks off.
Amazon Prime Day Singapore 2025: All you need to know
When is Amazon Prime Day 2025 in Singapore?
The quick answer is, we don't know yet. Amazon won't confirm official dates until a lot later in the year, usually two or three weeks before the start date. But based on our years of experience in covering major sales events including Amazon's, we can make some logical assumptions.
The main Amazon Prime Day is always held in July in Singapore and it usually kicks off on a Tuesday, running all the way through until the Sunday. In 2024, Amazon Prime Day in Singapore was July 16-21. If Amazon follows a similar pattern this year, it would mean the next Prime Day in Singapore could kick off on Tuesday, July 15.
This is purely speculation for now, along with a smattering of assumption that Amazon SG will once again host a six-day event.
What is Amazon Prime Day in Singapore?
Amazon Prime Day was first held in 2015 to celebrate the company's 20th anniversary, with deluge of deals that rivalled other huge shopping events including Black Friday. In the 10 years since, it has grown to become the retail giant's popular mid-year sales event, offering exclusive discounts on a wide range of items for its Prime members.
While it began as a one-day sale, it hit a full six days in 2024, with new deals dropping each day.
Will there be a second Prime Day in Singapore in October?
Again, the quick answer is we don't know. Given the fact there has been a second Prime Day in Singapore – known as Prime Big Deal Days – in October in recent years, we would be surprised if Amazon didn't continue the annual tradition.
Using the dates of previous sales as guidance, we reckon the second Prime Day in Singapore (if there is one) will kick off on October 7 and run through until October 12.
1. Go to Amazon Prime
2. Select: Start your free trial
3. Follow the instructions

To make the most of Prime Day deals including exclusive discounts and free shipping on eligible products, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member. Singapore has one of the most affordable Amazon Prime subscription costs in the world, though it does come at the cost of a few features the US, UK and Australia are privy to.
Still, for SG$2.99 a month, Singaporean shoppers get access to all the offers in Amazon Prime, including free delivery, access to Prime Video and all the shows and movies available in Singapore, plus Prime Gaming. If you’re a new member, you even get a 30-day free trial to test the service out, but we recommend waiting until October if you plan to use Amazon Prime exclusively for the Prime Big Deal Days sale.
Amazon Prime Day 2025: Our deal predictions
Predicting Amazon deals in Singapore can be a bit of a tricky game. While in other countries we can be pretty confident as to what products will almost certainly get discounts, because Amazon SG's catalogue of products isn't as diverse, it can make it more difficult to make logical assumptions. Amazon's own devices such as the Kindle, Echo smart speakers and Ring cameras, are (peculiarly) scarcely available in Singapore, although they can sometimes be found being shipped from international stores.
What we can safely assume, however, is that headphones will feature prominently. We regularly see discounts on top-performing pairs from the likes of Sony, Sennheiser and Bose throughout the year, so Prime Day should present an especially good time to snap up a pair of over-ear or in-ear headphones, if you're prepared to hold out.
Vacuum cleaners and other home and kitchen appliances are also readily available via Amazon's Singapore store, with multiple models from brands including Dyson, Ecovacs and Tineco being stocked at good prices. Considering we've previously seen discounts of SG$1,000+ across the board, we'd expect much of the same come July.
We'll of course share more information when we get it, but in the meantime you can check out our dedicated Amazon Singapore deals round-up for the latest discounts – and to give you an idea of which products may be discounted further during Prime Day itself.
Best deals from Prime Day 2024 in Singapore
Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wirelss (Special Edition): SG$599 SG$301 (SG$298 off)
The Special Edition Copper Black model of Sennheiser's fourth gen wireless over-ear cans received one of the biggest discounts we've ever seen for Prime Day. Featuring an enviable specs list and a gorgeous design, they're pretty close to perfect. Let's hope Amazon SG is feeling generous once again this year.
Ecovacs Deebot T30 Pro Omin: SG$2,999 SG$1,139 (SG$1,860 off)
This Ecovacs robot vacuum had only just been released when Prime Day hit, yet it received a monstrous SG$1,860 discount, which was, quite frankly, obscene. It can still be found with a decent discount, but nothing quite like this. It's certainly one to keep an eye on this year.
Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2: SG$250 SG$143,64 (SG$106.36 off)
Dash cams are regularly popular items, and this tiny Garmin dash cam is up there with the best. It's easy to install behind a rearview mirror, and is capable of recording clear, 1080p video with a wide 140-degree field of view. Footage can be saved to the cloud with the addition of a paid subscription, and an optional hard wiring kit will open up recording while your vehicle is parked, too.
Shark FlexStyle: SG$508 SG$388 (SG$120 off)
This Dyson Airwrap dupe was particular highlight during Prime Day, although we can't seem to now find it listed on the Amazon SG storefront. Let's hope that changes before Prime Day 2025, as it's a great hair styling tool.
DJI Osmo Action 3: SG$529 SG$287.06 (SG$241.90 off)
While there's a newer version of this DJI action cam available, it was the third-generation that received a decent discount during the last Prime Day. Does that mean the fourth-gen will get the same treatment this year? Only time will tell.
