A newer 2024 model does exist, but it doesn't appear to be available in Singapore just yet. Still, we're not so bothered as it doesn't offer much more over this 2022 edition of the popular Kindle. You get a bright and sharp 300 ppi e-ink display and of course, full access to the Kindle library of books.
Save SG$47
It's TechRadar's pick for the best ereader money can buy and it's got a little discount for Black Friday. Not only does the Libra Colour have a fantastic Kaleido 3 colour screen, but it also has stylus support, although you will have purchase the Kobo Stylus 2 separately. It's worth it our opinion.
Save SG$900
'Budget' TVs have certainly closed the gap, performance wise, with the flagship TVs of the world in 2024 and the Hisense U7N is a prime example. It's not quite best-in-class, admittedly, but for the price, we can't imagine anyone will be disappointed. Colours are vibrant, brightness is good and it has an excellent suite of gaming features.

A monster saving on Sony's incredible 2024 OLED TV. This model uses a 'standard' WOLED panel, but thanks to a new processor, manages to eke out exceptional brightness, whilst delivering beautiful, natural colours. The built-in sound system, which physically vibrates the screen, is also second-to-none.
Save SG$1,100
It's an investment, yes, but the QN900D is also one of the best TVs we've ever laid eyes on. It's 8K, but does a ridiculously good job of 'upscaling' 4K content and will make your movies and games look better than they ever have before. Plus, Harvey Norman SG is throwing in a free Galaxy Watch!
Save SG$2,080
There's a reason Sony hasn't updated the A95L with a newer model yet, it's just so damn fantastic and easily one of the best screens released in recent memory. It's capable of serving up incredible brightness, contrast and colours and it also benefits from the company's excellent built-in, screen vibrating audio system.
Save SG$700
A stonking saving on this superb Sennheiser Dolby Atmos soundbar is one you need to sit up for. It's capable of delivering a sound much bigger than its compact size would suggest, and one that is incredibly detailed and packed with low-end weight. Height to audio is good, not great, but as a TV sound upgrade that won't break the bank with this saving, it's hard to fault.

The PlayStation 5 continues to attract gamers in their droves, and for good reason. It's an incredibly powerful games console and is easily the best of the current generation. The Slim version on sale here has shaved some weight off the original console's proportions, yet kept the same power.
The disc edition receives a great discount, so it becomes our new top choice. Having a disc tray means you can buy physical copies of games (which can often be cheaper than digital editions) and it allows the PS5 console to double up as a 4K Blu-ray player.
If you want to spend less and don't mind losing the disc tray, the digital edition can be picked up for SG$594.

The Dyson V12s Detect Submarine is the only wet/dry vacuum cleaner available in Singapore (as opposed to other territories receiving the V15s version). The main difference here being the V12s model has a smaller bin canister, but on the flip side, it's also lighter and easier to move around. What is the same is the capability to both vacuum carpets and mop hard floors from one unit but with different cleaning heads. This Complete model comes with extra attachments, and you get free gifts worth SG$379.
Save SG$60
Blow dry your hair with ease thanks to this deal on the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. The powerful airflow results in super smooth hair and fast drying times, and with a number of magnetic attachments included, you'll be able to style your hair in numerous ways. Dyson SG is also throwing in a complimentary stand and case worth SG$248.
Save SG$357
The Tineco Floor One S7 pro is one helluva vacuum cleaner. It does everything you could want and more, as it's capable of vacuuming, mopping, deodorising and even disinfecting your floors quickly and efficiently. We also think it's a bit of a looker, and you can read more in our Tineco Floor One S7 Pro review.

This is quite frankly an unbelievable saving on an Ecovacs robo-vac that only launched a few months ago! We already loved its T20 predecessor, and the T30 adds a nifty new kick-to-start feature to get it up and running. Once again it will vacuum and mop, has a new anti-tangle bar brush and suction power has been increased to a whopping 11,000Pa.

This Ge 9 Yoga 7i 2-in-1 delivers oodles of power thanks to its Core Ultra 5 125U CPU and a 14-inch, 1920 x 1200 touchscreen IPS display. It's a 2-in-1, so the screen can also fold through 180º for tablet style use.
Save SG$443
The Quest 3S is Meta's latest VR headset that delivers powerful performance in an affordable body. The screen isn't quite as sharp as the Quest 3, but for casual gaming or watching movies, it's a great addition to your gaming machine collection.

A 25% saving and additional 7% off at checkout makes Bose's flagship pair of noise cancelling cans a standout deal. Best-in-class noise blocking, a comfortable design and engaging sound make them one of the greats.
The White Smoke and Sandstone versions are even cheaper at SG$398.
Save AU$156
In our Sennheiser Momentum 4 review we said it had "plain looks", but when it comes to performance, it's faultless. They're lightweight, comfortable to wear, offer up to 60 hours of battery life and have excellent ANC. We were even impressed by its call quality.
Save SG$190
Still one of our most favourite pairs of noise cancelling headphones to this day, the Sony XM4s are just outstanding. Excellent audio performance, effective ANC and a fold away travel-friendly design.
Save SG$146
Sony's dinky earbuds are fun, lively and full of character. Their ANC performance is also worthy of a mention, as is the high level of customisation found within the companion app. Competition is strong in the premium earbud arena, but this generous discount places Sony's pair at the top of the list.
Save SG$80
The Buds 3 Pro are Samsung's best-sounding earbuds to date. They offer excellent ANC and support hi-res audio from compatible Samsung phones. You may need to play around with them to get the perfect fit, but otherwise they're fantastic. Only available in white.
Save SG$135
This could well be the cheapest we've ever seen the Bose QC Ultra Earbuds in Singapore, and so we ca't guarantee they'll drop any further in price come Black Friday proper. They employ best-in-class ANC alongside Bose's signature, warm sound. They benefit from Immersive Audio technology, which introduces spatial audio and head-tracking, no matter your source device or music streaming service of choice.
The price here is just on the black model, including an extra 7% saving at checkout. Other colours get their own discounts, and are also eligible for the extra saving.
Save SG$57
This dinky Bluetooth speaker delivers a large scale sound that belies its size and crucially, does so without distortion. The Stormbox Micro 2 is also waterproof, making it is the ideal companion for outdoor trips where a heavy speaker would just be too much to handle.
Save SG$75
One of our favourite Bluetooth speakers, the JBL Flip 6 is portable, powerful and protected against dust and water. Pair two or more together for a fuller, even more powerful sound.
Save SG$100
The Bose SoundLink Flex is ultimately limited by its size, so don't expect it to be the main source for a room full of people, but there's no denying it's a confident performer. We also like how you can control it using physical buttons, your voice or the companion app.
Save SG$88
Anyone looking for a budget streaming app should have the WiiM Amp top of their list. It's incredibly simple to use, is well-built and it's capable of delivering a lively, enjoyable sound. It is limited in its physical connections, but otherwise there isn't a lot that comes close at this price.
Save SG$64
If you already have a hi-fi system but want to add streaming smarts, the WiiM Pro Plus is an incredibly talented streamer that supports virtually any source you can think of, be it a music or Internet radio service, or music stored on a server thanks to DLNA compatibility. Analogue inputs mean you can stream from your turntable or CD player too, and the sound it serves up is exceptional for the money.
Save SG$103
The small action camera market is no longer dominated by GoPro, especially since the introduction of DJI's Osmo Action series. The Osmo Action 4 is the latest version to be released, and delivers in every way that matters. Video quality it top drawer, including in low light conditions, and it has an intuitive magnetic mounting solution that makes using attachments a doddle. It's also small and rugged, as one would expect, meaning it can go wherever you go.
Save SG$34.99
A small saving, but this Fuijfilm instant camera was already pretty affordable. As we found in our Fujifilm Instax Mini 40 review, it's incredibly simple to use and auto exposure and variable shutter speed help cut down on user error. Plus, its retro looks are top drawer.
Singapore Black Friday 2024: key information
When will Black Friday 2024 sales start in Singapore?
Black Friday lands on the Friday directly after the US holiday Thanksgiving, which takes place on the fourth Thursday of November each year. The official Black Friday date falls on November 29 in 2024, though we’re likely to start seeing deals popping up from the end of October. Things will really kick off in Singapore from mid-November with the 11.11 Singles Day sales, and as we enter the week of the actual sale, it’ll be hard to avoid any Black Friday offers.
Are Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales held in Singapore?
What initially started as an American tradition has spread globally, and over the last seven years, Black Friday has only grown more popular in Singapore. A variety of major retailers jump in to offer deals, with Amazon, Lazada, Harvey Norman, Microsoft and many more jumping in to offer bargains across the entire month of November, including the actual Black Friday and Cyber Monday weekend.
Singapore Black Friday 2024: our predictions
There’s been a few sales in Singapore this year that can give us a glimpse into what we might find during 2024’s Black Friday. Amazon Prime Day and even the matching-date shopping events such as 9.9 sales are a good indicator of which retailers will offer discounts and what products to keep an eye on.
While Singaporeans are facing some economic pressures, shoppers are still turning out to snatch deals on small appliances, TVs, consoles, laptops and more throughout 2024.
Coming into Black Friday, we expect to see further discounts on TVs from brands such as LG, TCL, Sony and Samsung and games consoles should be big-hitters, too, especially with the recent launch of the PlayStation 5 Pro. While Sony's latest console may not get the discount treatment, its arrival should mean greater savings on the current models.
Laptops are another category that tends to receive excellent savings during Black Friday, especially from brands such as Lenovo, which always seems to be holding a sale of some description throughout the year. We're hoping the company will go all-out when Black Friday rolls around. You never know, Apple MacBooks may also come down in price, watch this space.
As for audio, Black Friday in 2024 will undoubtedly be a fantastic time to pick up the best headphones. We've already seen multiple discounts on the Sony WH-1000XM5 and Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless throughout the year in Singapore, so we'd be very surprised if these discounts didn't get even better. The Ultra Headphones and Earbuds from Bose should also do well, but we'll also be keeping our eyes peeled for savings on budget-focused pairs, too, such as the Nothing Ear (a).
Throughout the year brands such as Dyson, Ecovacs, Tineco and Roborock have all offered discounts across cordless vacuums, steam floor cleaners and robot vacuums, both through marketplaces such as Shopee or Lazada and directly from the source. It’s highly likely some of these deals will be beaten during Black Friday.
Black Friday vs Amazon Prime Day: Which is better?
Amazon Prime Day is an Amazon-exclusive sale, so while you might find some retailers matching deals, they’re not officially part of that sale. It’s also typically full of Prime member-exclusive deals. Black Friday, on the other hand, is a major shopping event where any and all retailers can jump in, including Amazon. The deals from Amazon SG also won’t all be locked behind a Prime membership, though Prime members might find some extra savings on hot ticket items.
Black Friday is typically the biggest shopping event of the year, but for the best deals on Amazon-branded devices such as Kindle ereaders or Echo smart speakers, Amazon Prime Day generally has the best offerings.
