Mufasa: The Lion King is clawing its way onto Disney+ SG – see it for just SG$9.50p/m
Plus entertain the entire family with Moana 2 for less, but hurry, offer ends March 31

With Moana 2 arriving on Disney Plus in Singapore today, March 12, we've already learned that there will soon be another Disney epic hitting the service in the form of Mufasa: The Lion King on March 26.
The latest film in The Lion King franchise – it’s technically a prequel and a sequel – was a major box office success, although it didn’t quite hit the mark with critics, managing just a 57% score on Rotten Tomatoes. However, as a family-friendly children’s movie, it offers plenty in the way of entertainment and really, that’s all that matters.
If you've somehow been living under a rock in recent months, Mufasa: The Lion King sees everyone's favourite mandrill, Rafiki, telling the legendary story of Mufasa (the father lion in the original 1994 movie) to young cub Kiara, daugther of Simba and Nala (and voiced by Beyoncé's daughter, Blue Ivy). Timon and Pumbaa also make appearances throughout the movie, but for the most part we're following Mufasa and his not-yet-evil brother Taka, who we come to learn is Scar.
The best part of this news, however, is that Mufasa: The Lion King’s release is perfectly timed to take advantage of Disney Plus’ current subscriber offer that will score you a full 12-month Premium tier subscription for just SG$113.98 – equivalent to SG$9.50 a month – a massive 40% saving.
Save SG$76
You've got just over two weeks to take advantage of this magical deal, that nets you a Premium Disney Plus subscription with a 40% saving. The Premium tier has the added benefit of 4K UHD content with HDR where available and Dolby Atmos audio, making it the perfect accompaniment to a stellar home cinema experience, especially for animated movies such as Moana 2 and Mufasa: The Lion King.
Combine this with the recent release of Moana 2 and you’re more than set when it comes to ensuring your children (or even yourself) have plenty of content to watch. For the adults among us, Daredevil: Born Again has already begun streaming and receiving rave reviews, while of course, there's the entire Disney catalogue of Star Wars, Marvel and Pixar content, to name a few.
You’ll need to act fast to take advantage of Disney Plus’ subscriber offer, however, as it expires at 2.59pm SGT on March 31.
